We have eaten at Sa Piola before but dinner on Wednesday evening was the best yet. Greeted by a cheerful owner and professionally and smilingly served by Noemi and Simone, we shared a starter of artichoke, bottarga and cheese which was both delicious and plentiful. Rita then had filet of ombrina with puree of potatoes which she said was excellent while I had belly pork with puree which was large and well seasoned. For dessert we shared a tart of almonds, pear and ricotta and the traditionally made coffee in a battered tin mug which is Sa Piola's hallmark. Quick service, delicious food and the Fork yums accepted with no demur. Highly recommended.

Disappointing as the food was below par, compared to other places we’d eaten and felt like it was also being discounted in terms of quality. Service was variable and we had the feeling we were being sped through our courses so the table could be freed up which is very unSardinian. Overall disappointing but not awful.
