10/10The food was incredible! My wife and I were blown away and genuinely believe it may have been the best dining experience we have ever had. We’ll be recommending it to anyone that travels to Spain. I don’t want to overshadow the wonderful service we received as well. Truly a 10/10 experience.

10/10Still craving the need for taste and flavour and having had our fill of pintxos we noticed that Logrono has more than its fair share of Michelin star restaurants. Research suggested the one star Restaurante Sabores was the place to go, however, Spaniards seem to have a different dietary clock than us Brits. The idea of tucking into a 7 course tasting menu at 9pm when normally we are contemplating bed seemed peculiar, so we opted for a late 3pm lunch. We were greeted on arrival and the friendly waiter wasted no time in bringing the first two of our six pre starters, all of which hit the spot for taste and flavour. With no wine pairing our genial host was keen to recommend the local Rioja and excellent it was. Each of the main courses followed suit, chicken gyozas, a vegetable dish of white asparagus and beans, sea bass and a perfectly cooked piece of Iberian pork in a potatoe cream and apple compote, followed by a pre dessert of sauted strawberries and finished with seven textures of chocolate. What's not to like! We ended with coffee, petit fours and a complimentary local digestive all for less than €150. Highly recommended restaurant in a lovely place.
