Safari Restaurante e Bar

We dine here every year and love the food and the view is amazing. You might miss it but if you don’t pop in and you’ll be surprised at how the restaurant is laid out.

Worst experience in Algarve. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews... The food may be even good, but a restaurant is not made only by food. First, I reserved at 8.30 pm and the first thing the waitress told us was that we had to leave at 9.30pm because our table was reserved at that time... But they are so slow and incompetent that we could only leave at 11pm... We received the menu. It took 45 minutes to have our drinks and appetizers... Unbelievable but the waitress was not able to open our bottle of water and she asked me to open it... The waitress forgot us and she brang wrong drinks with 45 minutes of delay. Moreover, there are only 5 types of fish dishes on the menu. We ordered 2 squids. The waitress said that they had only one squid. So we ordered one squid and one swordfish. Afterwards she came back saying that the swordfish was finished (but everybody after us got the swordfish without problems)... So we changed again the order (the choice was forced since there were only other 2 dishes in the menu). We received our food one hour later after our complaints... Then we asked for the bill and with surprise they don't accept credit cards... But only cash (during covid pandemic time...) The saddest thing is that we were not the only unlucky persons... All the foreign people were in the same condition, except local people... I'll not come back anymore here in my life
