Wonderful Indian restaurant with outstanding food which we regularly support and again the food remained at the excellent standard. Just felt tonight after a wonderful evening with great friends the service level at the end of the evening dipped below the outstanding levels consistently seen which was disappointing

It was a little hot because the air conditioning was broken, but the food was as amazing as always and service was pretty quick. They did stall a bit between giving us the menus and taking the order but then they tried really hard to make up for it.

I always find SAI restaurants to be excellent. I was however quite annoyed with one of the staff members when we were there the other night. I had booked the table for my family earlier that day. I walked into the restaurant first with my children behind me and my husband entered last. One of the staff (and drinks waiter) approached us and I as I started to tell him that I had booked a table he cut me off, looked over my head, went straight to my husband and asked him how he could help him. I have no idea why he ignored me or why he would think my husband deserved more respect, despite the fact that I booked the table and I was the one who was talking to him. It was embarrassing and disrespectful. My husband and children noticed it also and were annoyed also. I didn’t not want to complain as it was my husbands last night and I didn’t want to ruin it. The other staff members are absolutely fabulous, especially our food waiter, who we have met several times. So lovely and kind to the children. Overall this is a great restaurant. This staff member just needs to be careful that he treats men and women as equals.

This is a fabulous restaurant. We have been here now several times and on each occasion it has been excellent. All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and by far our favourite Indian restaurant. We can’t recommend it enough.

Usual excellent service but the tandoori dishes were massively over salted probably from the marinade. Dish was replaced but still salty. Good ambience and attentive waiters.

Food was good, although there is a little more heat than flavour. Service good. Restaurant layout is a little quirky. Probably would return if going to La Cala Mijas again.

For sure, it's one of the best Indian restaurant I tried. Dishes are well cooked and really tasty. Choices are plenty and various. You can go without hesitation.

Had a timeshare out here for over 40+ years, and have 2/3 weeks here every year and since the day this restaurant has opened we eat at least 2 or 3 times during our holiday. Food is always perfectly cooked with amazing tastes! The restaurant has air con which is amazing when walking in from the hot air outside, and the staff are amazing whatever you ask of them it's never a problem and will always deliver. My favourite restaurant out here ????

Great Indian restaurant in La Cala. Food is delicious with some interesting Chefs Specials as well as all the usual dishes you would expect. Good quality ingredients and really well cooked. Service was spot on and we will be back for sure!!

We come to this restaurant every year we are at Mijas. It is a quant little place. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming making the experience really enjoyable. The food is fantastic and very fresh - really high standard. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
