Eating at Sailmaker was a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was prepared with care. We liked being able to help ourselves to as many tapas dishes as we liked. The fixed price menu is reasonnable and also takes away the decision of wondering whether to order a dessert or not. In fact, two desserts are generously offered as part of the menu. I would recommend this restaurant.

The service here is incredible, the food options are great and delicious. We got the 3 course menu, and it came with the mediterranean tapas which were splendid. The dessert was ok, I would’ve enjoyed if it were sweeter but I know people don’t have a sweet tooth like I do. That aside it was an amazing experience and i’d love to come back again!

Six of us for dinner. On a Thursday night so not busy. Terrible and incompetent service. Got the pre dinner drinks wrong. Very limited wine list. Forgot our second bottle of wine. Waited over an hour for entrees to be served then another 40 mins for main courses. The fish mains were tasteless and dry. Overall not memorable! At least it was only $89 per person plus wine. Never go back.

Such a great date night! The ambience of the restaurant was elegant. Service was flawless. Food was delicious. The Mediterranean tapas bar was very interesting. It was our first time at the restaurant- definitely won't be our last! If you have a no kids night( like us ) this is definitely a place to try.

A wonderful experience! Outstanding service from the staff in particular Sichu - she is five star! The food was delicious and great value for 3 course menu plus tapas bar. Cocktails were perfect! Thank you!

Sailmaker don't even open for lunch or dinner.. luckily I checked my booking before heading to the city otherwise wpuld be left stranded. Disappointing experience

Not what was expected , only 2 main dishes not much of options. It was not all you can eat as we were told you can't order more then twice. Very small amount and quantity of food selections. Appetizers were very small amount and the price is not clear on upon checking the price was under the impression that the total for 2 was $80 dollars. I have been to sailmaker previous times when used to be all you can eat buffet and compare what we have on Saturday was very disappointed.

Pleasant array of good good with good service in a relaxing setting. The king prawns were very fresh and sweet while the lamb melted on your tongue, very tender. Things would be even better if the quality of the deserts improved to measure up with the great entre and mains.

This restaurant was great and there was plenty of food. The staff were also pleasant. My only complaint was that they charge a percentage to pay with your credit card (around 2.6%)

The ratio of experienced wait-staff to trainees was noticeably low. The "all you can eat" style should have been a clue that the quality wasn't at 4-5 star levels... Overall OK - but not as good as expected.

So much food, we didn't manage to eat it all! Happy with the seafood platter and the additional mains+dessert selection. Our waitress Rebekah went above and beyond withus and we were delighted with her service. Great ambience and definitely good value for money (with The Fork promo!)

The staff was welcoming and attentive. They changed the buffet to table service for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, there was no shortage of food. With the Fork Offer I think that Sailmaker offers one of the best value dining for high-end hotel restaurants in Sydney. It works well for a group of friends or a family to celebrate the end of the year!

Loved the ambiance - very festive! When we got the 3 tiered dish the waitress stated this was our entree. We giggled thinking surely this was the whole meal. We thoroughly enjoyed grazing our way through the delicious food. Then the waitress returned to clear the tray & to tell us our mains were coming! The food was extremely plentiful, extremely good value and delicious. Oh did I mention their were 5 desserts!!!
