It is an expensive restaurant, so you would expect spotless service. The staff was fine, although some of them seemed rather inexperienced (did not serve you from the right side, wrong coffee were served, forgot one was vegetarian, already when serving the appetizer). The food was nice, although you could expect more for the price given. Wine were delicious.

Nice setting with an open kitchen. Flavours were good but I felt for the price, not exceptional. The scallops and lobster were unfortunately overcooked. Desserts were the highlight of the meal. The tiramisu and triple chocolate soufflé were very well made.

There were many things I loved about this restaurant but the negatives ended up outweighing the positives. Lack of attention by the staff, likely due to a large party led to dishes not served at the ideal temperature and a constant wait for more water. Even though there was a large party seated near us there were other empty tables. If all the tables were full I’m not sure they would have been able to handle it. In the end, I would recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience but, for the cost, I would have expected a more attentive experience.

This restaurant is about 5-min by car outside of Bellagio. We had heard great things so made the reservation and planned to take a taxi. But our hotel concierge said if the owner and chef, Luigi, was not busy he would pick us up. A phone call later revealed this was possible on this night. Fantastic meal served personally by Luigi. Try the black truffle pasta and/or the saffron scallops. Let Luigi help with the wine choices. Fantastic

Fantastic service picking us up in Bellagio and returning. The food was amazing. Visiting Salice Blue is a must. If not you miss out one of the best meals in Bellagio.

The chef was a little short staffed, but the food was amazing and everything came out cooked perfectly. Carpaccio, tagliatelle, and lamb...were all delicious. Only wish we had saved room for dessert.

Salice Blu (Sal-ee-CHE Bloo) is a fine dining experience unlike any other in Bellagio. I have eaten there twice now. Last time was with my wife and it was intimate, quiet, romantic and charming. This time, i ate with my family and Luigi was very helpful and made the experience jump up just from the personal touch that he gives to the dinner. The food was outstanding. You're waiting for your next bite - it is so good. The staff is polite and attentive. From an experience stand point, you can watch the chefs preparing your food in the kitchen. The main Chef - Luigi Gandola is an award winning Chef and he comes to your table and talks you through the menu options. He is charismatic but humble and extremely knowledgeable about his product. The plates are art and the flavors are carefully crafted.


If you're staying in Bellagio - dont miss this Restaurant.

Amazing and unforgettable!
Nothing else compares to the wonderful flavours, originality, creativity of Chef Luigi who personally attended to our order, making special recommendations to be certain to accommodate us and our unique palates.

This restaurant has a beautiful patio underneath grape vines. It has beautiful lighting, is elegant, romantic, with outstanding food prepared by an award winning chef.

Luigi is a great guy, drove us, best part of the eve, but service was inattentive, Lacking some basic skills.
Food was decent but salty, perhaps we ordered too much meat, but did not expect pork sausage for the pork part of otherwise a very good grill, bread was cold and tasteless.
Best part was the chocolate mousse and the nice vintage Barolo we picked from a good wine list. They decanted, good move.
For my taste, the interior was overlit, why bother with the candles?
Drop the tourist menu pics, get or train some help, ease up on the salt.

The restaurant was fabulous the staff and chef Luigi was superb. We were amazed with the portion size as well very adequate. Need to go back to try other dishes. A must eat.

Salute Blu is special and Chef Luigi is the real deal! The food was lovely and the whole evening was special. Flora's salad was deleicate and yet robust in its flavor. The salt crusted sea bass was nicely done. The selection of sorbets was fabulous. Well done!
