Salmora - Live Kitchen & Bar

Took my girlfriend here for valentines. As soon as we arrived, the vibe was lovely. The service was amazing and the people were so kind. I rated the restaurant low because there were some things we paid quite a bit of money for, but could have made better at home! The rice we ordered was over salted and undercooked, the prawns we ate had nothing but it’s native fishy flavour to offer and the veg the chef offered to us to excuse the rice mistake was almost just as bad. As I crunched down on my half cooked broccoli covered in some sort of vinegar, I was ready to take my girlfriend home and call it a night. Lovely environment, D grade food.

We were welcomed warmly by the staff to a very clean and modern restaurant. Nice to see the chefs in the open kitchen as you walk in. We were early by Portuguese standard so first in but the waiter was very attentive and explained the dishes really well. Made it hard to decide because there are so many delicious options on the menu. We were really happy with our choices though.. squid ink burger, beef tacos, barrosa burger, gyozas... a mix of cuisine but all really tasty and beautifully presented. I tried to resist the temptation of dessert but failed when I saw the dark chocolate mousse with chocolate ice cream, caramel and sea salt and it was amazing! My partner had the tiramisu and it was also a hit. It was a very good meal. We were off the booze for the night but the wine and cocktail list was extensive .

Very nice place, super friendly staff, and the food is amazing. I've been here several times already, and each time it's a great experience. The price level is high, compared to the other options in the area, but it's value for money, especially when there is a promotion through The Fork.

Great atmosphere. Quite different from other places in Vilamoura. Busy and vibrant. Service a little inattentive at times when restaurant became busier, but team very accommodating. Food fun & good variety.

Very warm welcome on entry. Superb Food, Superb Service and a fantastic atmosphere. Could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. We were a group of 6, and we each ordered two plates each with another plate to share between. We left just enough space for there amazing apple pie. We ordered three apple pies between 6 which was perfect. Can not wait to return !!

Delicious food especially the beef carpaccio and the apple pie was to die for. These are sharing plates so typically you order 2 each for appetiser /main. Restaurant is very modern and clean and was completely full on the Saturday night we visited. Great atmosphere & service.

Lovely food with a healthy twist

Second time at this wonderful restaurant. Wonderful service and food that melts in your mouth. Wish the owners would open a restaurant in the UK!

Do not leave Vilamoura without going to this restaurant! The staff gave excellent service and were very knowledgable about the menu. The food was delicious, especially the mushroom risotto .

Don’t be fooled by exterior this is a stylish modern restaurant where they have gone to great lengths to make it a very comfortable and relaxing place to eat You have the option to eat inside or out in a little square the service is impeccable Food & wine all good quality and at a reasonable price Prawns and mini burger a favourite not so much the shredded beef taco which was a bit bland

Large modern styled restaurant which probably contributed to a lack of atmosphere. Advertised as a specialist fish restaurant but turned out to be tapas with sharing plates. Limited menu but food was good. Excellent service. Probably wouldn’t return because of the limited menu.
