Wasn't expecting pesto and sundried tomatoes in a carbonara dish... Margarita pizza went down well with the kid.

Food tastes really good from entrée to main dish. We ordered all you can eat and from entrée alone we're already full and the mains Specially the Rump Steak was sooo good that I had to ask for more.. best steak I ever tasted ever. Service is really good as well, we never run out of food on the table as they really looked after their customers. Will defo gonna come back again.

The reviews for this restaurant were mixed and I can understand why. Service was excellent and food came out in a reasonable time. The menu has quite a range of choices, but food was just ok. Barramundi was fine, maybe a little too much mash potato. Lamb shank also was fine, again a little too much mash. I had the ribs and they were really nice. They were separated form the bone, which made them east to eat. Sauce was tasty. My only gripe would be the chips, and that was being really picky. But crinkle chips are not my favourite and I haven't had them in a restaurant for years! The disappointing meal was my husband's Salt and Pepper Platter. It looked really good, with arancini, chicken wings, dips, Turkish bread, beef skewers, squid rings and chips. Think the sauce on the chicken wings may have had some MSG, but the beef skewers, although quite flavoursome, were almost inedible. The meat had a big bit of sinew through it and was too chewy to eat and swallow. We did tell the owner and he apologised and said he would tell the chef, but I think it was just a cheap cut of meat. We probably wouldn't go back but we don't live in the area. Reasonably priced, and don't charge corkage.

We had an excellent evening, We went the way of the fixed 3 course menu for $50, great value. Steak and lamb shank lovely. Great service, best coffee I’ve had for a long time at the end of the night. BYO with no corkage, rare as hens teeth these days. We will definitely be back.

We went to Salt and Pepper Grill as we had heard good things, food was ok, but not great. Staff were pleasant and friendly and prices were reasonable. 3 course meal for $50.00.

Food tasted ok but nothing to brag about. Prices were high n not to standard of food. Service was great. Gave it a go but not worth going back.

Lunch yesterday at this quaint homely restaurant in the burbs. Service was slow, took over 50 mins for our entrees to be served. We were the only 2 people in restaurant & no apology offered for the delay. We opted for lunch special, entree & main for $30 per person. Great value for money. Menu extensive. Entrees Salt & Pepper bruschetta was delicious. Salt & Pepper Calamari- calamari was a tad bland & bit tough. Rump steak - flavoursome and tasty. Chicken & mushrooms risotto. It seems to be missing the chicken & mushrooms. The risotto and parmesan cheese was creamy & very tasty. Food was good, nothing special..

Food was poorly done. Lamb Shank was bland, rump was chewy, wilted salad leaves and had very dry chicken pieces in the salad.

Enjoyed this neighborhood cafe, Nice music before the restaurant became crowded. We think the table wear should be a better quality.....cloths, serviettes very basic. Did go expecting a great range of Grills as the name indicates, but not much on the menu of that style.

We had the iftar buffet. It's not a long -tabled buffet style, but food prepared as you requested and subsequent helpings as you desired -hence no wastage. The manager is a very friendly person, I observed even from previous visits. I wish him success bec I think he deserves it bec he's hardworking and keen to try new things.

It's a restaurant you wouldn't notice on a quiet street next to an IGA, but it's a hidden gem. Staff were great, food presented amazing and it tasted great. Would strongly recommend you go.

They did not have our booking and I was asked who our booking was made through. The prices that were charged I would expect my meal to be served on china instead of a plastic plate. My husband enjoyed his pasta- my friend had the beef ribs and there was only one rib but full of fat. The table we sat at had a smell of old urine. My barramundi was cooked nicely but the rest was just average. The salad dressing tasted just of vinegar.
