The menu was very appealing but the quality of food served was disappointing. The food had little flavour, most meals were overcooked or served luke warm. We were only asked for drinks on 2 occasions. One was spilt on a guest and not even topped up for her. The gnocci my daughter had looked the best. She really enjoyed her meal. I really love the look of the restaurant and the ambiance. But I will not be rushing back here for a meal
The atmosphere and service was lovely. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. However, we waited more than 40 mins for our food to be served. The new item-crumbed eggplant was tasty. We Order 4 of those and they came out different portion - one was bigger than the others. The Wagyu steak was below expectation. Meat was tough -ordered medium rare. In general, it was a lovely meal but the food could be better.
I ate the sage chicken breast with heirloom carrots, mushrooms and dill sauce. It was delicious. The service was good and someone came regularly to fill up our water glasses, which was a definite improvement from the last time I had lunch there, six months ago. My only slightly negative comment is that the air conditioning doesn't keep the restaurant very cool in the height of summer and if you are a certain age, it can be a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, all good and I will return.
Saltbush is brilliant, although it is a little expensive it's great for a special occasion. The beef cheeks are to die for. We always enjoy going there for the great food and service when we are celebrating a special occasion.
The only 1 problem is no wheelchair access 3 steps both seating areas the staff was very friendly and helped me. . Asking what if staff hurt them self. Or if they dropped me it is the 20th century Wheelchair access is a necessity
Lovely looking restaurant with beautiful furniture & lighting. Comfy new seating and relaxed atmosphere. Food was good, service for drinks a little slow but they were busy. Had a nice night & would recommend to friends. I would skip the crumbed eggplant meal next time.
nothing wrong with the restaurant. they didn't have my booking when I arrived. had to give them all my information again before we could be seated
Meat was overcooked, and the same happened to the table next to ours. Vegetables instead not cooked enough. Very good staff on the other hand
Apart from many complaints from other customers very nice atmosphere and service. New cuttlery after the Entree would have been good but food very delicious and we enjoyed our evening!
The family decided to try the steak menu and we weren’t disappointed. Cooked the way we wanted, everyone enjoyed their dinner, I’ll try the wagyu next time just hope they don’t run out ????????
In general the food did not meet our expectations. I had the ribeye and my wife had the tomato soup. There was something a bit ‘off’ about the Meat. It seemed compact and without much taste.
have eaten here several times now and have always had great food.
Great night with excellent service.
the set mousse was really frozen and the bans on top tasted like frost bite it wasn’t great but otherwise everyone was good
Food was of a high quality and the atmosphere is easy and relaxed Patrons were a mix of locals and tourists so credit to this restaurant to have a diverse coverage of happy customers Will be returning regularly
Great food ,lovely staff great service
Great service. Nilay is excellent at his job..
I don't mind paying for a good meal, but that meal was not worth the $40 we paid for it. if you agree going to charge a premium price make sure you have a premium product. and this was not the case for the pub meal that I received I won't be running back to over pay again
Service was great as usual.
