A rare pearl among our careful selection of the best addresses right now

Very good restaurant with almost only Spanish people. Foie gras was suburb but also the baked spin crab was great. Thank you for a great evening!

Saltxipi is always worth the visit. Starters, fresh fish, and nice desert selection paired with a great wine list quarantees a great experience - we will be back.

Saltxipi was everything we hoped it would be. The Txuleta a la brasa was outstanding. The smoky flavors were absolutely fabulous. We also had the grilled clams, the mixed salad and the grilled hake. Oh, the grill!! All of it was beautifully prepared with large portions. The ambience was intimate and lovely. The setting is good for two, for business or for groups and they have a beautiful outdoor setting when weather permits. The owner/management/staff were so friendly and wanted our meal to be perfect. They also made excellent wine recommendations and had a superior list of choices. They were patient with perfect timing between each dish and attended to our every need. I cannot wait to go back. This is an experience that should not be missed when visiting San Sebastián. Unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant! It was a beautiful meal .

Excellent though quite pricey for lunch. I’d still highly recommend. Gorgeous garden, delicious food, and kind waitstaff. I’d return.

Great restaurant in a quiet neighborhood. Shared the turbot which was fileted tableside. Shared the rice with clams as a starter. Plenty of food for two people. Great service

The restaurant was plain and simple with tablecloths . No music playing. Allowed conversation. The restaurant was full but definitely not noisy. We were met by the owner and ushered to our tables with menus to hand . Water was offered and bread presented whilst we made our decisions.

Outdoor seating was beautiful! Very nice weather to sit outside too. Service was great. The grilled red sea beam was very tasty! Overall a very good experience.

The food is average. Only the sirloin is the best among the food we order. They cook perfectly right. The monkifish is too buttery for us and the fish cheek is average and its presentation of the fish cheek is bad. Service is worst that I am expected. They don’t even say ‘Gracias’ when we get out of the restaurant. I would recommend other restaurants in that area or the old town to other people.
