About the restaurant Sandó - Hotel Santo Domingo

A true dining experience does not begin and end in the kitchen. It is found in the way you are welcomed, the decor that surrounds you, taste and presentation of orders and even how they say goodbye to make you want to return. As demonstrated by Sandó restaurant, which has managed to learn from the best and surround itself by a staff specialized in you.

With a really different and cutting edge cuisine, with traditional roots oriented to bringing haute cuisine to everyone, their dishes are conceived so that they will surprise and celebrate the quality product. Delicacies such as the Sorta of prawns or Tiger nuts, bread and mango soup. Topped with a wine cellar with more than 50 local and foreign references.

In their unique location of Plaza de Santo Domingo, next to Gran Via, they mix delicious tastes, love and experience so that whenever you go you are, more than anything, happy. All around a dining experience that you can not miss!

Entrantes correctos, ricos sin mas, el plato de merluza siendo el mas caro de la carta bastante escaso y decepcionante, el tournedó excelente al igual que los postres. El servicio correcto. Carta de vinos normalita, algunos vinos muy subidos de precio. Para mi falla la relación calidad-precio y algún plato, no es un restaurante para platos de 28€

Reserve a traves de la aplicación un menú de primavera a 29 Eur entendí q figuraba en la reserva, en carta figuraba otro q coincidian los primeros platos el precio es a 44 Eur entendí q era el de mi reserva y que con el tenedor tenia deacuento pues no era otro, en la carta no aparecia el que yo reserve de ahí mi error. No es un tema de precio ya que pedimos bebidas caras y abundantes sabiendo q no se incluia en el menú, pero si te quedas con cara de tonto cuando te traen la cuenta. Carísimo salimos a 70 Eur por persona eramos 4.

Nice atmosphere, very nice extras (apetizer and small sweet on the house). Good fish dish (not perfect!). Very attentive waiter. I would definitely go back.

Very nice place to have a nice comfortable night. Was the third time already in 3 years and still with the same serving personnel. Very good quality of the plates, nice variety and very well served with good price quality.

i made the reservation for the New Year. i was expecting to dine AT Sandó, at a double table, as reserved a dinner for two: not to share a round table with strangers or at another hall, at the hotel. i know it was new years, but there should be a better description of the service.

the execution of the dishes wasn't so good, neither were the ingredients, and the wine was poor. the website said the Nochevieja would cost 132€ (when i reserved online), but we ended up paying 180€ per person. either price, was over the value of the dinner.
