Excellent
We enjoyed the food very much and the restaurant was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately the live music was extremely loud and we could barely talk. We were not planning to hear a concert, we would have preferred to eat in a quiet restaurant.
A really great find, food was excellent, as was service. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
we visit the Restaurant once a year, if we are in Rome... is a really a good adress to enjoy a nice evening in Rome. Not central but not far from the City. Not the cheapest, but for the offered quality really a good Service, Food and Drinks... They have always some daily house Specials, and we enjoy always our stay in this Restaurant. See You next Year :-)
Carlo was the best!!!!!
Lasagna was amazing!
Quaint place with nice atmosphere live pianist playing while you are wined and dined excellent shall return.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Very friendly service. I had Pasta with prawns and tomatoes- very delicious!
Even our gluten free vegetarian loved the food, great staff, great food, great fun!! The music was a nice extra and grandma hates everything but loved the bolognese.
The restaurant was lovely and the food and service were both superb. We would highly recomment it
Great fish special with grill sea bass and mussels. Nice atmosphere, no more than 18 guests, so plenty of attention if you want otherwise enjoy a traditional Italian meal (don’t feel rushed). Third time there.
The waiter was way too aggressive and trying too hard to upsell. He brought a bottle of still water without asking us. The kitchen failed to follow our instructions on cooking the fish we ordered. The food was just okay. The music was too loud.
I decided to check out this recipe based on the high reviews on multiple spots. I made a reservation for 2 on thefork, assuming they would be busy, and headed over. When we arrived, we had to wait for a table, despite there being multiple open tables. Once seated, my sister and I were handed menus. We ordered and were talked up to order fresh pasta. We assumed this would be better and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing. However, the service was terrible. Once we had our menus, we were ignored until the two servers stopped arguing in front of all the guests. Two other groups came in after us and were fawned over by the servers (fish and lobsters brought out, wine samples, etc.). In the middle of the meal, we were asked to move tables to make room for a larger group that was outside perusing the menu. We moved because we felt like we didn’t have a choice as the servers began moving tables and grabbing our plates and wine. The table they moved us to was covered in silverware, wine bottles, and a cheese platter (that may have been from another table). They didn’t take the time to clean the table before they asked to move us or moved our food on to the table. They cleaned most of the stuff off our table and then proceeded to give their attention to the other table while we uncomfortably tried to finish our food and wine. We hadn’t yet finished when one of the servers was outside talking to a couple looking at the menu, asking how long the wait might be. He looked over his shoulder at our table and said it’d only be a few minutes. I still hadn’t finished my wine. I have never felt so embarrassed in my whole life. When they came and cleared our plates, they asked in passing, half-heartedly, if we wanted dessert. We said yes, because we had planned on ordering it already. Once we finished the dessert, the brought us the check immediately. It was the first time a restaurant in Italy has brought me a check without my asking. They handled our payment and we felt the pressure to leave. We did, because it was clear we were not welcome anymore. The food was great, but the atmosphere and the service was not welcoming at all. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food was overpriced and selection of wine by the glass was not adequate
Great atmosphere, small restaurant good service. Not a normal tourist destination. Try it you will love it. Service, food, atmosphere worth a trip off the Via Veneto
Excellent food. Friendly service. Family friendly. Good portions. English spoken Prices on par with the neighbourhood. We highly recommend. Dined as a family August 4
We have been coming to this restaurant now every year for 3 years when we come to Rome. I think it has changed owners. We use to feel we were part of the family. This feeling is gone from there now. We were disappointed in this change. We will not be going back.
We had a reservation for a party of eight, friends and work colleagues. The restaurant was very responsive and accommodating of our needs. Service was cordial and attentive. The food and wine were delicious and the price was more than reasonable. We drank three bottles of the house red and the bill came to about 35 EUR per person with many great appetizers and a main course. The decor was welcoming and the live music was entertaining. All in all an excellent dinner and evening.
Excellent food in a city with many small competing restaurants
What an awesome experience. Very small and intimate setup coupled with a piano player in the background. And great service from the staff. I had the sea bass and my wife the ravioli. Both dishes were fantastic and the wine was a great pairing. Their tiramisu was also very good.
A nice place, live music, good atmosphere
