10/10We tried all kinds of dishes al one by one they tasted excellent :) One important key note: you must agree with cilantro. And my dinercompany and I happen to love it. Service was also very friendly and adequately quick! It was a sheer joyful and tasty experience :)

10/10I have already been at Sarban three times before yesterday, and is always as good as the first time. From the food to the people working there, you really feel like home! I definitely suggest to go and try the "surprise menu", if its the first time you go. Let them guide you through the experience, and feel as if you were a guest in their house! :)

10/10The chef's selection was delicious! I couldn't fault a single dish. Great flavours and textures throughout and the best dal I've ever had. Definitely try the home made fig liqeur as well! We will be back!

About this restaurant
Sarban is een familierestaurant dat met trots in januari 2010 is opgericht door onze familie; de familie Alizadah. Het was het eerste Afghaanse restaurant in Zuid-Nederland. Met de gastvrije ontvangst en verrassende gerechten veroverden zij al snel de harten van de gasten. Sarban betekent letterlijk ‘de gids'. Afghanistan is van oudsher een drukke doorgangsroute tussen oost en west. Volkeren uit verschillende culturen reizen langs de handelswegen en laten hun invloed op het land na. Aan het hoofd van de karavaan staat de Sarban, die de kamelen en hun berijders veilig door Afghanistan naar hun bestemming leidt. Team Sarban neemt je ook onder haar hoede in jouw kennismaking met de Afghaanse keuken en cultuur. Naast fantastische smaken, proeft u ook de warme, informele sfeer van ons land. Zij schuiven graag even bij je aan tafel aan en vertellen over de gerechten en de cultuur van ons land. Chef Rabia en Chef Ahmad bereiden dagelijks vers hun gerechten en koken volgens familierecept. Degene die heeft gekookt, serveert de maaltijd ook uit. Aan tafel vertellen ze je graag over onze bijzondere gerechten. De nadruk ligt op dagverse en natuurlijke ingrediënten die elk gerecht karakter geven. Ze houden rekening met allergieën zoals lactose en/of gluten, koken halal en desgewenst veganistisch. Natuurlijk is er de keuze uit bijpassende wijnen. Probeer ook eens de huisgemaakte vijgenlikeur of vijgenwhisky.
