Accueil vraiment très sympa. Le patron vous donne des conseils sur la carte et s'assure que toute le monde soit satisfait. Les plats sont très bons, on sent le fait maison sans aucun doute. Je recommande vivement. Jerome

First, it's just at the exit of metro station "Bonne nouvelle". Convenient for our friends to join us. Second, as promised, 40% discount on plat+dessert! Third and most important, food is fantastic!!!! Cannot stop finishing the plate even after gaining 3kg since coming to France. Last good point is the service! The patron is French tho the patronne (hope I'm guessing correct) is Italian! We 4 took all different plates and they are all awesome! Strongly recommend cafe+dessert！have to stop writing cuz this is getting me hungry again! À la prochaine fois!

Nice food and a pretty restaurant but our whole experience was marred when it came to paying our bill. We paid our bill £68.08 and left a tip and got on our bikes to go home. About 10 minutes later I received a call saying we have underpaid by €8 and could I go back. I was baffled because I knew we had divided up payment perfectly and left some to spare. Nevertheless, I cycled back and had to wait ages for anyone to speak to me. Then they hand be a new bill of €79, which is just flagrantly wrong. We too-ed and fro-ed for a bit when she admitted that maybe the waitress had a made a mistake with the initial bill but we definitely had to pay the new bill. It is terrible service to 1. blame an employee mistake on your customers 2. call your customer back to remedy that mistake...for €8! In the end I refused to pay and left. I couldn't understand what the additional money on the bill was for.

Moral of the story? Hold on to your reciepts kids! and check what you are paying.

My friend and I had a very nice time at Scala! We are quite used to italian restaurants and this one is very good!
We both had excellent pizzas and à great great dessert! Would love to go back!
