We really enjoyed the food. A good selection of wines. Disliked the service as we had to ask to bring the bottle of wine we had ordered. All in all, we would definitely come back.

The restaurant was simply too hot to sit in to enjoy a meal. The food was good but it was just too hot to be sat in the restaurant. For me, it ruined the experience.

The food and wine were good however we found the service too rushed and the waiter was very keen for us to order extras that they charge for e.g bread which has been complimentary at every other restaurant we have been to in Sicily.

Our only disappointment is that we didn't find this little restaurant earlier in out stay in Ortigia! The lady who served us was very welcoming. She was also super helpful with menu advice. I have a gluten allergy and sometimes struggle to find a restaurant I can eat at. So it was a delight to find several delicious gluten-free options here. My husband and I ate early as we had a train to catch. We both enjoyed our meals very much and they sat lightly on our stomachs; so important when the weather is hot! Our simple, beautifully prepared meals used delicious local products. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. We ate outdoors but they offer indoor dining as well. The gluten-free pasta dish "Busiate con broccoli e salsiccia" was a treat. This restaurant is also a wine shop which stocks an extensive wine selection. Overall, excellent value for money. Based on our experience, we certainly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing restaurant! We enjoyed both the quality of the food and the remarkable service, following the advise of the waitress on the choice of fish to take. We were not disappointed and count on coming again when back in town.

The staff was very attentive and helpful with wine selections. As for the food, it was a 50% success. The foccica, calamari, and horse were great...however, the beef tartar, pasta Ala Norma, and the spaghetti with clams should have been avoided. We feel like this restaurant should stick to what they do well...bread with a side of horse!

What a gem to find (thanks to The Fork) in the heart of Ortigia. A fabulously quirky restaurant inside where you feel you’ve been welcomed into a wine cellar and treated to some fantastic home cooked food. The pasta was amazing. The staff were wonderful and the choice of wines was great. Would highly highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal. The octopus and pastas were excellent, as was the recommended local wine. Very good service. The cars on the road behind were the only distraction and why we rated a 9 instead of a 10 on ambiance.

The location could be definitely improved. It gives a feeling of untidy and somewhat dirty. Despite we had booked 24 hours in advance for 2.30pm, when we arrived they received us as we were bothering, and only after a double check with the kitchen they let us in. Food was really good, homemade flavours and quality. Dessert too. Service was not the most welcoming at the beginning but it adjusted in the end.

Very attentive, fast and cordial service, many thanks and compliments to the two ladies who welcomed and served us lovingly! We really enjoyed our dinner and every single dish was very tasty, recommendable cuisine. Our joy was somewhat dampened when we received the bill. We should have gotten a 20% reduction on the dishes and only got 12%. The chef's explanation for this was incomprehensible and it was the first time in years that I, as a user of "The Fork", had the very unpleasant feeling of being taken for a fool. No tip and a star deduction for that. What a shame, we will be spending a few more days here in Ortigia and would have loved to come back because of the food and the wonderful service, but now we will have to do without it. Nevertheless, many thanks for the delicious food and even more for the very pleasant service!
