10/10It is easy to see why Seascape has been rated so highly. Deservedly so, and we add our 10 out of 10, to the list of previous ratings setting Seascape at "exceptional". The yellow fin was phenomenal, the Tasmanian salmon was among the top salmon dishes I have ever had anywhere in the world. Why do I sound so surprised? I read the reviews and chose Seascape. But you have to be there to understand and taste just how good it is. AND, its right at the heart of Surfers Paradise Beach, the night market. I am booking again for mid May! and taking more guests.

5/10The meals we had were not that inspiring, although whilst perfectly eatable, there wasn’t any wow factor. The service was average, although they were busy. Given the food is on the high side price wise, I did expect better.

10/10We lived in Surfers Paradise 27 years ago. This was our nostalgic trip. The food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. It was the absolutely right place for the last dinner of our trip!

9.5/10A great place for an excellent seafood meal. Pretty busy, but not in an overcrowding sense, so be sure to book. A bit pricey but a nice place to have that special occasion.

10/10Faultless experience. Lovely, professional staff and exceptional service. We dined in the fine dining restaurant where we enjoyed a lobster mornay, followed by a delectable chocolate fondant . I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others for a real dining experience.

6.5/10we had a booking for 8pm on a Sunday, however our table wasnt ready therefore we were asked to have a drink close to the bar, which was ok cos we can see the restaurant is busy however i ordered a dry martini but received a dirty martini instead, nonetherless the waitress noticed we returned the drink so she promised to ensure they will get it right by the time we are seated. The drink arrived and then a second one arrived (by accident) so they took it away. Two larger tables were seated after us but were served with water first so we asked for water and a menu. The food wasnt bad however they forgot to put through two sides. Overall we food was ok, its the un-organised staff that made the experience not as enjoyable.

9/10Food was really nice and atmosphere was great, but the portion sizes are quite small. You definelty have to order an entree, a main and a desert to be satisfied.

8/10Nice restaurant, beautiful view! Wasn’t a big fan on the house baked bread as it seemed as if it was lacking something. Found the meals to be slightly overpriced, but you’re paying for the view. The chips were very oily and not great. Definitely some of the most professional staff I’ve come across.

8.8/10Great place, great food, great views. Food was overpriced. Happy to pay $50 for a main... but please, give me more than 2 moreton bay bugs and 2 prawns. We loved the place but left hungry.

4 The Esplanade, 4217, Surfers Paradise (QLD), Australia
A seafood sensation
A trip to Surfers Paradise isn't complete without a meal at Seascape Restaurant & Bar, a stunning venue that offers an incredible outlook over the beach and buzzing Esplanade. Ascend the contemporary timber staircase to the restaurant on the second floor and find yourself in a minimalistic, modern space that is the perfect backdrop for wining and dining. Seafood is the name of the game here and the restaurant sources a minimum of six different types of fresh fish daily; each one prepared specifically to showcase the unique tastes and textures of each fishy morsel. Start with an entree of maple-cured black kingfish with wasabi sorbet, wakame and sesame praline or cured duck breast before moving on to one of the daily catches. And if you really can't choose opt for the five-course banquet and enjoy the Chef's seafood selection. Or if you're just looking for something a bit more casual head to the bar and bistro downstairs and grab some fish & chips and a glass of wine… this is a venue that is perfect for all occasions.
Best dish: Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon, pan fried, dashi broth, 34 pickled mushrooms, edamame, kombu.
