We got there 45 mins earlier than our booking but were accommodated. All our means were excellent and good size. The gnocchi was fluffy and light, the tiramisu to die for. We’ve been before and we will definitely be back again

Beautiful food! However, we were the only table inside, and we needed to request service on several occasions re more water, clearing of plates and were never asked if we wanted dessert.

Great portion sizes and delicious. Staff were very friendly too. It was good to see the bill correctly reflected the Fork special deal. Would definitely recommend it.

A wonderful night out. We were greeted immediately and made to feel valued. The service was. exceptional, especially for Lygon Street where we have occasionally encountered rude or just unfriendly staff. The waiters at Seasons Provedore were all extremely friendly and attentive, nothing was too much for them. Service was quick but not too fast between courses. The food itself was absolutely mouth-watering. On our table, we ordered arancini which was crispy on the outside with a lovely traditional bolognese filling. We also had pizza, two different kinds of gnocchi, pasta and lasagna all of which lived up to the restaurant's reputation for fresh, mouth-watering homemade Italian food. The atmosphere was like that of being in Rome. We would all definitely go again. Thank you Seasons Provedore!

Attentive and friendly service, we loved the air conditioner on the hot day. Good choice of food, drink and dessert selection.

The restaurant was fantastic as well as the food. We were running late but as we arrived the staff still welcomed us in to our reserved seat which was located in very nice area which is what I requested. The service was class and overall a fantastic experience. We really felt we were in Italy! Would highly recommend the is place to anyone. Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day a great night to remember. See you again soon!

A great Italian restaurant in Carlton that serves freshly made pasta upon order. My favorite is Marinara con Tagliolini al Nero di Seppia (squid ink seafood pasta) perfectly balance flavour and sumptuous goodness of seafoods. Service is good. Highly recommended.

Food was tasty overall. With 50% discount it is a good deal, however would probably not go here as it is pretty expensive otherwise. Gnocchi whilst good, is probably too heavy. Wish there were more Seafood pasta options, the one on the menu costs around $37 normal price, which is obscene. Service was overall very good. Bolognese sauce is very tasty, the napoli, not so much.

Great place for pasta in Carlton. Staff and friendly and helpful. Had gnochi Sorrentino and gnocchi with pesto, both delicious, and a glass of wine each.

On a very hot melbourne evening our group dined for dinner. Our table was ready and once seated our orders were taken fairly quickly. The temperature in the restaurant was a little hot (I couldn’t see any air conditioning) but we managed with iced water. Our food was fresh and delicious and everyone was happy with the portion sizes. The gnocchi as others have suggested was soft and delicious. We had a great time.

Lovely Peeps/welcome/service - especially newby blonde waitress. Food quite good and drinks nice and cold on a 40 degree evening. Sour note - had to work for our 50% off food booking via Fork...At payment time, the till waitress (Asian) tried to "sneek" a full charge bill on our group then insisted on viewing my phone for the booking to quantify my claim. She showed me the drinks bill which was covering the full fare food bill - b4 I queried the 50% off the food thing...these "games", which I have experienced b4 elsewhere, detract from the experience and sadly mean we will be unlikely to return more often to these places ☹. Place was empty when we arrived, so our discounted price business is surely better than none at all!

Excellent food with particular mention about the beautifully authentic homemade gnocchi. Bruschetta was another delicious item on the menu

Food was okay, I’m glad we had 50% off food, otherwise it would have been overpriced. They also got two of six orders wrong. But. Pleasant meal in the end.

Food was great, service was welcoming. Nevertheless a hidden gem on Lygon st . The award winning pizza was amazing, spaghetti carbonara was magnificent but the chicken risotto was just average.

About the restaurant

Caffeine a Go-Go. One thing Melbournians like to get snooty about is their coffee, and Seasons Provedore rise up to the challenge. This charming little Lygon Street eatery is a cafe-ish restaurant with intimate little tables and pretty modern furniture. It certainly has a dark and sophisticated look about it – to match the coffee we suppose. Here, the coffee is complemented with savoury treats and European desserts. From macaroons and cakes, to biscuits and tiramisu, their selection of boutique desserts will send your tummy rumbling into overdrive. And in the typical style of Lygon Street, the restaurant also serves delicious homemade Italian for lunch and dinner. You won´t find any cheap alternatives here; all the pasta is made on the premises and the difference shines in the taste. Plus the chefs know a thing or two about Italian cooking. Seasons will surprise you with how quickly they can whip out a quick bite to eat if you´re in a hurry, and they´re more than happy to cater for families and children. For a pleasant and simple experience on Lygon Street, come to Seasons Provedore.
