Great place. Better than blauw and less pretentious. It is about the food. Wonderful to take people not used to the spiceyness of true java or indonesian food. They appreciate it and it gives a good introduction to indonesian As a tip to the service. Explain to your guest where each dish comes from in indonisian as a rice table is like an anthology if indonesian food.

Rijstafel "Besar" for two is waaaaaay too much food ???? Really good experience, could have been a little bit more authentic but brought me back lots of souvenirs of Indonesia.

Lovely staff, very attentive. Food was great - more than one person could eat (and I had the small portion). Hot food could have been warmer. Otherwise, delicious!

We, a party of 8, found the restaurant empty, food only average at best, vegetarian option was most disappointing and certainly the least enjoyable dinner of all 5 different restaurants we ate in, in Utrecht. As we were the only group (there was one other couple) it seemed the staff were determined to have an early night ( we arrived at 20.00) so the serving waitress departed the moment the meal was placed on the table. If this is the best that they can do then best avoided.
