10/10The staff were very attentive from the minute we arrived. Had our booking and allocated the necessary discount. The food was exceptional. Good quality, excellent flavours. We had the Polvo Sem Remo starter to share followed by the Mixed Grill and Fish to share. Huge portions including chips and salad. Excellent wine too. Would go back too.

9.5/10Newly opened restaurant in Funchal. Food was absolutely excellent - well presented with high quality crockery, cutlery and ingredients. The team were clearly very busy but they ensured we felt looked after throughout. We had booked via the fork with a discount, and the server made it clear whilst ordering what was and was not included in the offer. We appreciated the transparency, and left feeling slightly guilty for the huge discount we got off our final bill! I would recommend to others visiting Funchal for a Portuguese meal, but with a modern edge.

Wonderfully attentive staff and fabulous food made for an all together great dinning experience. We had the tartare to start (both the steak and the tuna) sublime. I had the black scabbard and my husband chose the risotto washed down with bottle local wine recommended by our waiter. Everything was excellent.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and excellent service. Just wish we had booked the restaurant earlier in our holiday. However we will be returning to Madeira January 2026 so we'll be back. Thank you for making us welcome and helping us all to have a lovely evening.

5/10The soup starter just ok, the squash with ginger, no ginger, many pieces of fish in the fish soup. The lamb chop wasn’t a chop, but slices of tough lamb which couldn’t be chewed. The accompanying sweet potato was cold, as were the diced vegetables. Hot potatoes were supplied on request. The steak was served on the stick, moved by the waiter on to the chips, but was cold, it was reheated and returned, by which time the chips were cold, so weren’t eaten, The waiter was very apologetic. He offered us deserts to make up for our disappointment but we had lost our confidence and declined. The waiter removed the cost of the lamb chop from the bill.
