Friendly welcome at the restaurant. Tables not too close together and the noise level was moderate. The restaurant interior is attractive. Although the menu is relatively small, there is an interesting range of seasonal choices. Our group found the food inconsistent - there were highs and lows. More care seems to have been taken over the entrees than main courses or deserts. A vitello tonnato was fresh and attractive, the octopus and pea puree was good but too sparse on the main ingredient. Pasta dishes were well cooked but lacked a wow factor. A beef dish was not sufficiently rested and bled onto the plate. Only one of us had space for dessert, a Sicilian cheesecake, that cannot be recommended at all - being essentially sugar and cream. Far too sweet. For the wine, we were presented with 3 bottles table-side and had to ask the prices before making our selection. This could be an area the restaurant could work on - curating a slightly larger, more eclectic wine list. Overall, ok but more consistency needed.

Super delicious! The menu is small but you can tell they take special care in the ingredients. The Octopus was incredible and so tender. highly recommended.
