To begin, we appreciated that the restaurant was considerate enough to alert me that Cuina Obierta week would affect our original lunch reservation. We also got an immediate response to follow-up questions. We found the setting to be bright, airy, and quiet. Service was quick, and patient with visitors with limited Spanish language skills. We opted to order from the a la carte menu, and had a light lunch of croquetas, corn and skirt steak tacos, and blue crab with black pasta, finished off with a pear and rice pudding ice cream dessert. All of the dishes were beautifully plated, and were bursting with flavor (especially the pasta which seemed to explode with the salty flavors of the nearby sea!). We would love to return some day and will not hesitate to recommend.

food was pretty good, high quality, the service, specially the time between dishes (+2 hours) was pretty bad. I'd come back if the timing issue was solved. ES: la comida muy bien pero 2 horas y media para 5 platos arruino la cena.

In one week time we have been twice at this very nice cosy and delicious restaurant. (See my other review). Looking forwards to our 3rd time in a near future.

In one of my others reviews I have already mentioned that Valencia has many addresses where one can enjoy a nice meal. But "nice meal" can have many "shades of tastes". At "Seu Xerea", the combination of excellent fresh products, the attention of the staff for their guests and the ambience make a simple lunch or a romantic dinner a moment to remember. During our holidays now in July we visited twice this cosy restaurant. And already looking forwards for our next chance to be back.

Our third visit, we make a point of dining here now when we visit Valencia. Seu Xerea never disappoints. A great tasting menu for €49 and a wine pairing of 4 wines for another €20 it is excellent value for money. The food is innovative, service is professional and friendly - we will return!

Food is very tasty and well presented. Stuff was kind, a bit slow but that's the Spanish spirit. All in all, planning to go again some time soon.

service is not at the level expected. the tapas menu is good with some hints. all in all good but not outstanding.

Food and wine delicious, went for tapas menu at 35euro per head and added matching wines at 12euro per head. Would have preferred more dim lighting as it is very bright.
