7/10I wanted to like it here more than I did. My husband and I went to Shang Palace for a meal and we went with the tasting menu. It was... nothing special? We have a lot of spectacular Chinese food in NYC and so we thought this would blow us away. It didn't -- but perhaps our expectations were too high.

9.5/10It was my dream to find a top class Chinese food experience in Europe. After traveling many years around the world for my business I can say that Shang Palace is exactly how a fine dining classic Chinese\HK style. Super the Dim Sum selection, fantastic both the service and the quality of the Whole Peckin Duck.

3.5/10We have choosen the menu., all dishes were totally without taste, staff not so kind, Completely wrong wine pairing and a bad sommelier! For our opinion, this is not at all a one star Michelin restaurant.

10/10I lived in Singapore for 12 years and had dined at various Shangrila restaurants as well as many other top restaurants there. The lobster we had at the Shang in Paris was one of the very best - succulent, sweet and with just the right amount of XO to give it a kick. The French beans were super tender. The French sole was very good but the texture was not one of the very best we had.

4.5/10Arrived for a meal with a family of six, on our only visit to Paris. Wouldn't return to this restuarant, service was ridiculous meals all came at different times , chicken wasn't good, chewy and over priced for what it was.

9.5/10Great food but terrible value for money. The food is fantastic and the quality of the signature dishes is wonderful. It being a Michelin starred restaurant, and also part of a 5* hotel, you would also expect prices to be high. However, charging €8 for a small bowl of white rice (that wasn't even ordered) as well as €10+ for still bottled water, when all we asked for was "some water" seems to be taking it to the extreme.

6.5/10Delicious but extremely overpriced, probably due to being inside the Shangri-La Hotel. Felt rushed by the servers, though they were very kind. Almost impossible to try many things on the menu if you are only two people because the portions are large. The prices should have been, at most, 70% of what they cost. I wouldn’t return for this reason. But it was really good food. Just not worth the prices of other similar accolades in Paris.

9.5/10This is one of my bucket list for restaurant to go in Paris. It is difficult to find high end Chinese/Dim Sum place outside Asia. Honestly, this place is not as high end as I imagine. More family oriented/business casual located in boujee hotel. The food didn’t disappoint. The dimsum is perfect bite size. The meat platter is to die for. It is 6 pieces of siu yuk, charsiu, and roast duck (not peking duck) It is difficult to make crispy skin on the siu yuk yet the meat is still retaining that juiciness and softness. The same with the duck. Although, I still prefer the siu yuk. I try the Budha jumping over the wall soup (Abalone soup) but still prefer the other dishes. For dessert, the tang yuan is the best I have ever had. The skin is very thin with lots of fillings. The service is not as good as I expected. It could also be because there is only 1 waiter with 2 helper to serve the entire floor.

10/10Food was excellent and fresh. The best is the chefs speciality sashimi. And pan fried prawns with crispy garlic and chillis was mind blowing.
