10/10Excellent restaurant, the food is excellent, one of the best in an Indian restaurant, and even though it was a busy evening everything was well organised and service was excellent! We received complimentary drinks at the end ( to note you could bring your own drinks). We were a group of 5 and had a very enjoyable evening, we would definitely recommend the place.

4.5/10Definitely one of the worst Indians, if not the worst Indian, I have ever had. Squeezed into a relatively small troll with dated decor, the poppadoms sauce isn’t very tasty, the starters were poor quality and the mains weren’t hot and were ok quality, but not great. Staff were ok but quite transactional and the bill came incorrect. 50% off food via TheFork though, so cant complain too much

9.5/10This restaurant had a good reputation specially with the lamb dishes, it didn’t disappoint. The tandoori lamb - dry meaning with no sauce was fantastic, onion rise, naaan, even the Cobra beer was good. I highly recommend!

8/10The food was nice enough. Nothing exceptional but tasty and the lamb was nicely cooked. The staff were friendly. Wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for what we got, but was good value with the 50% discount.

6.5/10Staff friendly. Food average. Tandoori chicken below par, very dry and overcooked. Rogan Josh lamb OK. Veggies were also OK but nothing special. The 50% TheFork discount was not subtracted from the bill, only after we requested it. Have had better Indian food in other places.

9.5/10Food is really good. The only thing I would suggest is that they should have a better attitude toward people that book through THE FORK app. The first time this happens to us… still we will absolutely recommend the place!

8/10Food was great and we had a good time but wait staff tried to change the discount to 25% because we’d brought our own drinks (T&C’s said discount applied to a le carte menu, no mention of anything else). Then they said we had to order starters and mains in order for the 50% to apply. I queried it and it was resolved but a little frustrating to be arguing over discount at dinner when the T&C’s are clear.

3.5/10We had a reservation but still needed to wait 45 minutes for a table. The restaurant was full of drunk and extremely loud people that were shouting and singing. Food arrived pretty soon after we ordered and all the food was lacking taste. Disappointment!

10/10First time on Brick Lane. Great atmosphere on the street, a lot of hustle and bustle. The restaurant is no different. Lots of people coming and going. The service is very friendly and efficient, despite being busy. There's a good array of dishes on the menu. All the food was of an excellent quality, full of flavour. If you book online, you can take your own drink. There's an off-licence within 100 yards too. The portions are generous. It's a great experience, one I'd recommend unless you're after a romantic dinner for 2.

10/10Almost every restaurant on Brick Lane claims to be the best. I haven’t eaten in all of them, so can’t possibly judge all their claims. There may be other restaurants there as good as Sheba, or better, but I’ve not found them yet, so I will keep on returning there.

4.5/10Food was just ok. Service was ok. But the rest was pretty disappointing. Booked the table over a week ago for a large party. Confirmed it twice. Arrived and table was not ready. They were still obviously sorting themselves our for the lunch service. Dirty laundry lying all over the staircase where one is supposed to go to for the toilets. Disappointing

5/10This restaurant has great reviews so we gave it a shot tonight. I feel like the potential might be there but our experience was rough. As soon as we sat down we were assaulted by staff constantly asking us for our order or if we wanted drinks or staters. This would normally be a good thing and good service but it was seriously every 20-30 seconds. They have an expansive menu which looked great but with them bombarding us with questions every few seconds I couldn’t really get my head wrapped around it. I ended up being upsold in a shared starter (which was pretty good) and panic ordering something I ultimately wasn’t very happy with. Almost everything we ordered outside of the starter was incredibly sweet. The chicken tika masala being the worst offender with it being very close to being inedibly sweet and very close to tasting like a desert. The quality did seem nice the flavors were just very off. I think I would have been happy if I could have had the time to order something more spicy but if you enjoy mild Indian food, this was not it for me.

3.5/10Food totally mediocre, we have been before about a year ago, completely different food experience (food was fantastic) which is why we decided to take up the discounted food offer and go again for my husband’s birthday. When the bill came I asked if we had received the discount, of course we hadn’t! Bill revised and reduced by over £15 we bought our own wine. Would definitely never return.

10/10Staff are so lovely, we did BYOB they came over straight away with glasses for us and bottle opener. We brought a birthday cake they provided knife plates and napkins. So friendly, it was my 3rd visit and I will be back

7.5/10We were looking for an authentic restaurant and this came up repeatedly as the best. The food was good and the owner/manager very nice and friend But they are exaggerating with the prices and the food wasn’t very hot and the ice ream desserts for the kids poor quality. Disappointed I think that they were good but have got lazy sadly

3/10We arrived in time and got sit only 10min after, which I understand as a busy place can happen and that’s no problem. Waiter didn’t know the menu and got our order wrong as one starter was missing. We waited one hour sitting at the table for food although we ordered pretty quickly. There’s no customer service. We book through fork and when the bill arrived didn’t have any 30% off so had to ask the waiter who amended the bill and I believe we paid for some sauces that never arrived. I was so fed up by then that we only just wanted to go. The bill was written on a piece of paper by hand and we couldn’t even understand what was written in there. Food was ok but nothing you can’t find in a regular restaurant. Expecting a bit more from a restaurant who is making themselves big based on food awards. Air conditioning right on my neck and we were freezing kept our coats on the whole time. Had to chase waiter after one hour for our food as people sat after us where getting their orders before us.

7/10Great food and the staff were fine. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they snuck in a 20% service charge on the bill that we didn’t notice until we got home (£22 service charge on a £110 bill). Thought that was a bit rude and feel a bit taken advantage of.

10/10Been twice now. Great curry’s, fantastic selection and it’s was decently priced. Highly recommend. There was one waiter in particular who was super friendly, he made the the evening a lot more enjoyable.
