Reserved for 12:30 lunch with a friend, another Japanophile based on a single trip. Only one other table occupied so no wait. Music was quite loud but they offered to turn it down (and did). The 18,50€ menu offered two choices for entrée-plat. My gyoza were ok, the shrimp in my entree galette were very tough, and the eggplant accompaniment was unseasoned and very greasy.. My companion's braised tofu and Tonkatsu looked fine. Hot water refills for our tea were readily brought and we were able to linger comfortably. The carte looked more interesting but is considerably more expensive. Glad I tried it but the search for the ultimate cozy Japanese non-sushi restaurant continues.
