The restaurant is really nice, the food was displayed very nice and the service was great. I did think that many of the courses tasted a lot alike. I also did not being panhandled while dining. A family came in causing a big dissruption and asked the stadd if they could put on an act and ask for money, they were allowed to do so. It wasn't that long, but then came and stood in front of your table asking for money, the workers at the restaurant gave money as well. Might as well have been eating in the train station.

Everything from the friendliness of the staff to the overall ambiance of the space made it an incredible experience. Each dish served was more unique than the last, combining flavors I would not have thought to put together in a beautiful presentation. I can't say enough about the positive experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone in Munich.

In the past decade, I have been to many Michelin starred restaurants around the globe, ranging from 1-3 stars. I just don’t understand how Showroom get their fresh 2024 one star. The restaurant is located in a residential area with 26 seatings, extreme minimal decors and waiters dress very casually. One could choose from 6, 7 or 8 dishes tasting menu, and the only difference is that either you get a cheese plate and or a second dessert. Please keep in mind there isn’t any menu whatsoever, but a signed copy is available for you to take home, I simply just left it there. At 7pm, the restaurant is dead, only 7 customers and one dog, servers are bored, gathering in the back, watching some YouTube with volume quite high, clashing with their American pop music selections for your dining experience, one would expect at Five Guys. Other than the steak, other dishes are lack of ideas and flavour, so much foam, I felt overwhelmed and just cannot justify the price paid. It sucked!

I will remember everything about this restaurant, the service was stellar, superb, David was super friendly, and giving enough banter for our enjoyment. The chef, Dominick, came out to introduce himself upfront, and tell us how special he thought his menu is, that he hoped we enjoy it… and that we certainly did. Dominick mixed flavours and ingredients together that I wouldn’t have thought would go well together, but every course was spectacular, immaculately plated, there at not enough positive adjectives I can use for the Showroom. Dominick, David and the rest of the staff, have made the dream of an Australian tourist; to visit a Michelin star restaurant, come true! I will keep the signed menu, and will continue to tell everyone “to come to Showroom”

This restaurant felt like a breath off fresh air. A feel of casual fine dining experience with amazing staff. Food was great and the wines recommended to us were excellent. I would go anytime again if I am back in Munich.

I expect a nice 7 course menu to take 2.5 hours, maybe 3. We were there for nearly 5 hours! Had the food been outstanding, that might have been permissible, but the dinner started out with what can only be described as crumbs from the bottom of a cracker bag and was finished with a dessert seemingly made by someone more familiar with salad garnishes. I have no idea what they were trying to pull off, but coming from someone who has dined in many Michelin star restaurants around the world, this is one to skip.

Food and wine pairing were a tad expensive . For the dishes there were sine hits and some misses but overall good. Some of the wines we had were excellent but some were just mediocre . But still it’s with a visit .

I have to agree with other reviewers - our experience was mixed. Some dishes were excellent while others had strange flavor pairings (steak tartare with milk chocolate souffle) or were oversalted. Wine pairing was favoring oaked white wines with two reds. Service was good. The place is small and cozy. Overall satisfaction per dollar spent is lower than in other Michelin restaurants we visited.

Showroom was the most disappointing Michelin starred restaurant we have ever been to. First the good. The service was great and the wines and wine pairing was top notch. Now the bad. The food was just terrible. Each plate has so many different flavors and textures that didn’t match and left us feeling confused and disappointed. The 8 courses ranged from ok to terrible. Also, the restaurant is not air conditioned. It was hot and humid in the restaurant. This place does not deserve a Michelin star.

Very attentive service, friendly chef. They served a lot of pre-starters, which were over and above the tasting menu courses. Good wines, too. They also served a lovely dish for my 7 year old daughter!
