This restaurant is much like being in a vegetarian restaurant in India. Very traditional and lovely flavours. Friendly staff. We are coming back!
Best pure vegetarian/Indian restaurant that we’ve been to in Lisbon so far!
Once again, absolutely delicious
We had a lovely dining experience here. There is an open kitchen, the staff is lovely and the food amazing. We had the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Baigan Bartha. We loved it. We had some rice with it and Naan bread (best I ever had). It was more than enough for us. I do not understand the reviews saying the portions are too small because they are not!
The food was very good. We tried a bunch of starters and the street food dishes, which were all amazing. The cheese naan and masala chaas were the best I have had in Lisbon. I will definitely go back. Note that they serve south Indian food every Saturdays, so will definitely be going back to try that as well.
Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty! There are a lot of delicious dishes. I totally recommend.
The food was great as usual. A changing table for babies would be nice.
Great! The food was amazing and the people as well! I am not vegetarian but the dishes were amazing, packed with flavour. The waitress was very good with recommendations. I foind very authentic that they were still learning portuguese. You wont regret going there!
I was very impressed with the food. Lovely flavours. The palak paneer we had was very good, but the cheese naan was especially good as well the aubergine curry. I'm vegetarian and although there are many restaurants serving vegetarian curries, never had one in Lisbon that's as good as this. Will return to try more
Very good food and atmosphere. My favorite place in Lisbon! The service was slightly slow considering the number of guests in the restaurant. The restaurant has to speed up the service especially during lunch hours.
A vegetarian Indian - really good. Prize/Quality excellent.
The food was amazing . Ppl are really great . I loved everything . Please do visit Indian authentic food.
We really enjoyed our visit at Shree Ram. It's just a few minutes drive from city center. All the food we tried was great and the staff was really friendly and helpful. We will try to go back again while we are still in Lisbon.
Excellent find. Great Menu and although the restaurant was fully booked we managed to get a table as we had booked online. The service and personal attention by the owner was brilliant . We had different dietary requirements including a request for Jain and Vegan food which were all met. Every dish we had was exceptional and defiantly would go back.
I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, since it had really good reviews in various platforms and because it's vegan and vegetarian. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live upto the expectations, starting with the welcoming. I had booked a table at 14.30, and we arrived around 15 minutes late, so around 14.45. The first thing that was said to us, was that the kitchen was already closed and that since we were late, we wouldn't get a table. This was on a Sunday afternoon, where people usually have late lunch in Lisbon. In the end, we ended up staying, but it felt like the restaurant was doing us a favor for letting us have lunch there. It felt like we needed to order very quickly, which was very, very unpleasant. Now, the food isn't bad, maybe a little pricey for what it is. There are more Indian food options in Lisbon and, frankly, all Indian restaurants have vegetarian options, so after this experience, I won't be returning.
The staff is nice but the service is slow. The food is pretty good. Some spelling mistakes on the Portuguese menus may cause some confusion. I would like them to have at least one vegan dessert.
I´ve tried a few Indian Restaurants in Lisbon but I have to say that Shree Ram really stands out from the rest of them for the positive. It´s not because it´s better, it´s because it´s different! We were three. Me and both of my parent for lunch. We ordered some tasteful Dal Fry, Dal Makhani and a Mix of Vegetables Deewani Handi, which is ok for the last one. I recommend the Dal´s, especially the Dal Fry with Naan. The taste is amazing! The combination with the Naan and the jeera rice makes of this dish something so unique that I keep coming back. Overall, It´s a familiar restaurant and you can tell the effort they put to serve well. For example, We ordered 3 Vegetable Samosas and for some reason, they were not coming properly fried on the inside. Quickly they managed an alternative to compensate this issue with three Onion Bhaji without charging them. Last but not least, I found there a complete Vegan meal including the Naan with cheese! I wish them the best of luck!
