About the restaurant Sichuan Food

Winning cooking method

The music in the background and the interior fit it perfectly with the Chinese kitchen. Sichuan, one of the four ways of Chinese cooking, is the cooking style here and it can be spicy. The Peking duck is the absolute favorite and if you want to go all out choose The Imperial Menu or Royal Menu. They are the first Chinese restaurant to get awarded with a Michelinstar in Europe.

I returned to this restaurant after being away for many years and was very pleased to see that its high standards have not dropped. The wine list is extensive, the food very good, and the service attentive. This combination makes it extremely easy to enjoy a very pleasant evening here.

We had a very pleasant dinner for two : it was a 2people menu with 4 courses. Dimsum, chicken, salmon, noodles, etc. all in all excellent ! The experience was worth every single cent .Staff was kind and friendly, they really helped us to decide. It is a very old restaurant with out dated fashion of decoration, but food was excellent so you do not really care about decoration. However, it ain't cheap, so it would be nice to have better decoration around you. I really fancy warm fresh towels after meal.

Small chinese restaurant in a nice setting, with good service compared to other chinese restaurants in amsterdam. Food is delicious, but the portions are on the small side. The peking duck menu is recommended! The prices of dishes are a little bit higher than the chinese restaurants on the Zeedijk, but still worth every penny.
