10/10Very welcoming staff lovely atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Great cocktail made freshly. Had a fabulous fresh salad and husband had a burger which was great. Tremendous value for money too.

10/10the food was delicious and actually made me full. So many times I go out to eat and get hungry. The side fries were so good they actually competed with the main dish. I loved it!

2/10Menu isn’t long and even though it’s short they almost have nothing. Everything I ordered was out of stock, from the salads, to bruschetta, to burritos, to nachos, etc. … they didn’t have any of that. Beer was good but should be colder or served in cold cups. Disappointing.

9.5/10The food was excellent. The waitress was fantastic. Very friendly, and in a genuine way. Great beer selection. Great music. It was a little quiet when we went so difficult to judge the ambience but felt like it would be a great place when lively.

10/10I booked Simplex Virtus for my 2 adult sons and me on our first night in Porto. The restaurant was quirky yet comfortable and the staff greeted us warmly. We had a couple of lovely local beers as we ate burgers and burritos. The food was excellent and not too expensive. We would recommend this restaurant to any visitors to the City

10/10If you want to spend an amazing time, eating delicious food, listening to good music. This is the place. The best burguer in Porto is here, no doubts. Our experience was incredible. The staff was super welcoming and prestative, helping with the options of beers and cocktails. I ordered one Do Porto burguer, with caramelized onions with porto wine, goat cheese and toasted almonds. It was really a unforgettable gastronomic experience. While we are waiting for the food (only 15 minutes), we played with the cards games that were available. Such an amazing experience! Thank you, simplex!!

7/10When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant. The chap serving gave the appearance of someone who would rather be anywhere else in the world than working in the restaurant. The nachos starter was excellent however we had barely finished these by the time the mains arrived. We both had burgers which I thought were excellent but a little to pink for my wife. It was all rather transactional. At no point were we asked if everything was OK or if we enjoyed our meal. Perhaps this was just a bad night as the chap serving us did seem to have a cold so was maybe a little under the weather.

8.5/10Very welcoming staff, the service was a bit slow but it was expected since there was only one person serving the entire restaurant. Food was great, very well seasoned, highlights were the homemade nachos. Only downside was the chicken burger, the patty was a bit on the dry side. Beef burger and tortilla were great. Also was expecting a bit more variety in beers. Since it's a very small place, it can feel a bit too crowded and noisy, but that is the expected atmosphere for a place like this. Overall, definitely recommend visiting!

4/10Booked on the TheFork app but on arrival they didn't have a table for us. Scrambled and dragged a table into the middle of the floor between two large groups either side of the room downstairs. The smoking area was just outside the door and with the large groups people were going in and out so we were freezing as the wind was blowing through the building. Asked for a drinks menu as I wanted to the craft beer and was the primary reason for visiting and they said it was available using the QR code printed on the food menu. This is fair as the beer can change a lot with craft pubs/restaurants but in this case it didn't work and came up as expired and not renewed (I presume the webpage hosting or something) either way pointless. Had to run upstairs and take a picture of the black board. Here's an idea for simplex, add a black board downstairs with the beers listed. 3 of the IPA beers I would have liked to try were not available so ended up only having 2 that I have never tasted before. I would have spent more if they were available. We order food and waited and waited and waited. 45mins to 1 hour later we got our food and it was cold. The burger was nice but since it was cold it was hard to enjoy. Chips were cold and didn't enjoy them at all. We also order onion rings and these were nice but not homemade, clearly came from a frozen bag and was the only thing that was hot in the meal. Left very disappointed. I visited a number of craft bars and restaurants in Porto and was looking forward to this one based on reviews and it turned out to be the worth one. Shame.

10/10The best burger we ever had in our life!! I had the Porto burger and my boyfriend had the Fumago. Sad they did not have all the beers they had on the meny thought.. But we would really recommend going her for a homemade experience;)

8.5/10We were a group of 17 people. The staff were able to cater very well for us and the service was good. They were very friendly. The Ireland vs Scotland Rugby World Cup game was on and they helped us connect our phone to the TV screen to stream the match. We had a great night. Food was good and some lovely beers. Although there was only one choice of red and white wines, both were lovely and very reasonably priced.
