Excellent
The food was excellent, well cooked and extremely tasty. Even though they forgot a starter, they resolved it quickly and apologised profusely and offered a shot of aquavit. Highly recommend this family run business!!!
I like a restaurant with a small menu. it normally means the food going to be good. we wasn't disappointed, great food, amazing white chocolate cheesecake and good wine. what more can you ask for. will be back soon
We have wanted to visit this place for a while & thankfully the new Gov restrictions didn’t stop us! Hygiene measures were well handled and we felt very comfortable with these, so for those worried about eating out right now - don’t! The food was delicious & beautifully presented & the team were friendly & efficient - we will definitely be back!
This lovely restaurant has a great menu, it was very difficult to choose what to order as everything looked so delicious. We loved every mouthful and wish we’d had room for dessert. The space is clean and simple with great furniture and the staff were attentive and kind. Would thoroughly recommend
A fantastic experience with nice food, friendly service and quiet atmosphere. You can really tell this is a family run business. The food was on point and interesting
Brilliant food
An amazing restaurant, would highly recommend. Fantastic food, authentic ambience, phenomenal service - a really lovely experience all round.
The service was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and well priced. Our table situation wasn't the best but understandable with current regulations. Would definitely go back!
This was my third visit (first under the pandemic regulations, which they handled very elegantly) and was a great meal out. The food is imaginative, creative and nicely presented. We (three of us) opted for gravlax, herring and a kind of twice-baked soufflé (which was terrific). The hake with a chicken glaze was very fine. As always we had the Swedish rice pudding which is heaven on a plate. Bill without wine about £130, and we had a couple of bottles (£36.50 each) of an excellent merlot-corvina blend. Really strongly recommend.
The chefs gave words of welcome when we sat down, which makes us feel wonderful. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, making the serving of dishes at a nice and comfortable speed. The coffee syrup bread was so nice that we bought a loaf of it for takeaway. Love the combination of Scandinavian lingonberry and venison meatballs. Measures of social distancing and sanitation are very well implemented.
Simply the MOST delicious food, cute interior and welcoming staff we cannot wait to come back again. Thanks for leaving us feeling so satisfied and excited about Nordic cuisine - what a treat!
The food was excellent and the waitress that brought our food and drink was excellent. However, the front of house hostess could only be described as frosty. Everything else was so wonderful that it was a shame to have such an abrupt experience from this individual. Perhaps consider someone else to greet diners!
Really good food! The veal meatballs were super! All the food that we tried was fresh and as well very good portions.. The staff was super nice and friendly, as well very clean and with hand sanitizer at the entrance and all the security mesures. Very lovely experience and I do recommend to try! Hidden gem in Islington
Excellent: Level of hygiene, quality and taste of the food, presentation of the food and attentiveness and welcoming from the staff. Good: Selection (not ass large, can be improved), Atmosphere (very nice, authentic, but a bit of a tunnel) Overall experience: Excellent :)
Really interesting menu. Excellent food and friendly service. Highly recommend.
The food is delicious and although the portion sizes are small they will still fill you up. It also means there is room for dessert which was the yummy Kladddkaka in my case. Swedish staff is very friendly. We visited in February and I found the restaurant a bit cold temperature wise. The loo was freezing. Service is included in the price so I found it a bit odd to be pointed towards adding further gratuity when you pay.
Excellent. The warm salmon main was superbly . Very attentive service.
