No table for us despite our reservation- This was rectified but it made us feel like we were an imposition! Service at the bar was slow and order taken wrongly 3 times! Those serving at the tables though were very pleasant indeed.

On arrival was told our booking wasn’t on the system as they are having trouble with thefork but that they would fit us in. The table was sticky as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We as told waiting time for food was 1 hr as busy due to event. Had no issue with this but when food arrived the waiter placed the plates down and said anything else ? I had to point out we had no cutlery etc. when he came back with cutlery there were no napkins , no condiments and no tartare sauce which was part of the dish with scampi. The chips were hard and kept shooting off the plate when I tried using a fork. Portion size was on the small side. My partner had a pasta dish and it was lovely. Staff were pleasant but service was not great at all

Booked through TripAdvisor company ‘TheFork’ two weeks in advance and even got two emails reminding me of the booking. When we got there, there was no booking and they couldn’t accommodate us as they were busy. They don’t even use TheFork!

I'd booked a table for Sat 20th April for two ppl but when we got there,no booking was found. For us but luckily I had it on my phone so we were given a table,however 40mins into us eating a red head young girl came over and told us she needed the table back in 10mins.I explained we,d only been on the table for 40mins and she replied abruptly with,the table is for bookings only.I explained we,d booked the table and showed her our booking and she said fine,but was said very rudely and no apologies given.Made the whole experience a wash out.Staff need to learn to speak properly to customers. Wouldn't come again or recommend
