Really enjoyed a beautiful meal. Unusual and very tasty. The skate dish was delicious. My only problem was that I couldn't finish it as I was so full after my starter which was equally delicious.

An outstanding restaurant; I had the sole meunière, which is their signature dish. It was absolutely delicious! The mousse au chocolat was amazing as well - they just bring you two huge bowls, one with dark and the other with white chocolate mousse and you help yourself!

Very average food. Dessert course on set menu not taken ( one diner was diabetic) We asked for cheese instead , and no allowance was given for the missing course the full supplement for the cheese was charged

We first visited La Sole Meuniere in 1999 whilst on a day trip to Calais and really enjoyed it. Since then, whenever we are in Calais we always eat there. Over the past five years or so we have not been but this time we were really delighted to find that the food and service was as good as ever. Prices were also reasonable. This is a really professional and well run restaurant.

We have visited this restaurant sporadically for many years now. Everytime we visit we are never disapointed. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. The decor msy have changed but the quality is the same. Pierre Nuchi should ge very proud of his restaurant. We hope to ge back soon

We were greeted with disappointment because they were expecting four people. The young man who greeted us was fine about it - the manager came later to express how disappointed he was - in front of other guests. This experience may have affected our enjoyment. We chose this restaurant for the fish, but that didn't impress. The wine was good (Rully), the young man consistently gracious and accommodating, and the gaps between courses was always negotiated without fuss. I felt like a small boy, but without all that I would still say that compared with other restaurants in France that we have visited, it was overpriced. My wife would be more severe.
