What an incredible and inviting experience we enjoyed this evening. Due to the reviews, we took a bus and 3 metro transfers to get all the way across the city from south of Rome center. It was so worth it! The chef greeted us at the door and welcomed us with Prosecco and a heavenly, dark bread. The little gifts kept arriving, and we had a view into the kitchen to see our steak tartare and pork belly antipasti being prepared. The chef served us perfect recommended glasses of wine to accompany 3 excellent, handmade pasta dishes and melt off the fork beef cheeks. We finished with a small dessert which was light and just sweet enough. I’m astounded that the bill was so reasonable for our elevated and gorgeous dishes. The portions were just right, The service was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The setting was warm with good lighting and a cozy feel, with lots of space between tables. We would come back in a heartbeat! This was the Roman meal I have been waiting for!

This was a fantastic find, magnificent food, very reasonably priced, brilliant service, an all round fabulous experience.
