This was a huge disappointment. A beautiful setting as described by all however the food and service was poor. The waiter was impatient and pressurised us to make selections at high speed and when it came, the food ranged from good ( lobster) to very poor (plat du jour was hopelessly overcooked). Desserts ranged from OK to ghastly (the peach smoothie).
Once bitten, twice shy.

We came to Micocoulier to celebrate our anniversary and had high expectations since the previous restaurants we'd eaten ate in the area were mouth watering. The ambiance and service were building our hopes, but the taste of the brillantly presented food was underwhelming. The somalier couldn't speak French or English and the parting dish, dessert, left us full and not much else.

Lovely setting. Laid back space. Service a bit hit and miss. Overall liked it.

Great location, great food, great service. Only hick up was that 1 of our party of seven had her meal after the other six people finished theirs. That shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this. I think they forgot about it. But people make mistakes and overall it was a good experience.

Waitress brusque, unsympathetic and unhelpful when asked for advice, in French, about husband's allergy to solenacae family. This made him very tense and spoiled the meal for us both.

We had returned to the area and restaurant for a second year. Excited about revisiting the restaurant as it was fabulous the first time and we were looking forward to it as a real treat! Things had changed a lot, although a couple of things that thankfully remained the same were the beautiful setting and lovely waiting staff. However, the food, although not terrible, was disappointing in it's execution, and very hurried. At this price you expect high quality and time. We were going to return for a sushi lunch next week, before our return, but will look for somewhere else - we were given sushi samples, and they were ok - but fairly bland. The chef was trained by Joel Rubichon - whose food we love for special celebrations; no sign of this. They may have been having an off day in the kitchen, and it was busy - but on the basis of this experience I would not recommend if you are looking for a real gastro treat. (We had degustation menu - with lobster).

Excellent find, nice local restaurant with good food and service. Booked through 'the fork' but I don't think the restaurant used the system so you really need to phone to make a reservation. Fortunately it was not full.

Very welcoming. Beautiful courtyard dining. Interesting food, well sauced and locally sourced. Not the cheapest but worth the extra.
