10/10The service at this restaurant is 5 star. Everything was beautifully taken care of and the food was delicious. We will definitely visit again soon and a big thanks for making my brother's 50th birthday celebrations so wonderful.

9.5/10Second time we have been here, service is very good lovely young lads who serve, food is so tasty and flavourful Not a lover of service charge I think it’s up to you to leave a tip if you think it is worth it, not up to the restaurant and I didn’t see that until we had left the restaurant

5/10The food was mostly excellent. I recommend the lamb shank, the fish platter as a starter was delicious but the white fish was overcooked and dry. Overall, it is not worth the £18 per head, albeit the manager pointed out that it was a per-person charge, The restaurant was underheated and cold, the tables small and the fancy plates too big for the tables, an unfortunate choice of form over function. I hate being oversold poppadums in Indian Restaurants and Spice Merchant is true to form.

9.5/10A great little restaurant. The food is excellent. The service is perfect with there being enough staff around they still give you time to think whilst also being quick to serve your food. This is my third visit and myself and my team will be back. Excellent!
