7/10The food was excellent but we were unsure whether to eat inside or outside and we were encouraged to eat outside and did so not realising that there were some rowdy golfers enjoying a post round session. We hoped they would quieten down but sadly the noise level kept alternating and the language became worse and worse and they eventually staggered off to catch the resort bus as we finished our main course. We decided to return to our resort and commented on the situation to the server when paying the bill who said it is a common problem. So we should have moved back inside but would recommend anyone visiting Spikes to eat inside and avoid the circus outside

3/10I thought the lay out lacked any ambiance. The service was poor with no conversation or feel good factor from the waiters. The food tasted bland and our children I thought were fed frozen chicken and chips not fresh food ?

3.5/10Don’t like the refurb -noisy not elegant and overpriced for quality of food and average service . Waiter scraping plates at the table . The ridiculously long menu was obviously an indication that this is a mass market place with little care to the quality of food

8/10The restaurant was excellent given that they never received my booking with the fork. They very quickly put together a table of 7 and rushed through our food order when we pointed out we were time limited (a message that accompanied the booking). They also mentioned it was not the first time they had rnot received booking requests from the fork.

7/10The food was excellent, although when asking to swap my fries for sweet potato fries the lady who took our order was quite abrupt saying ‘no’ and was very dismissive. The whole experience made me and my family feel like we wasn’t very welcome.

10/10What a gem the recently reopened Lounge Bar is. Such a lovely place to enjoy a pre dinner drink. I enjoyed one of their new cocktails. We sat outside for dinner taking in the lovely view. Food and service were excellent. We will be back!

9/10Excellent food, friendly stuff, nice atmosphere, good view, good service. We had a great and enjoyable evening and will certainly come back. We definitely recommend this restaurant, haven’t seen such a beautiful sunset before.
