The pasta was absolutely fantastic! The owner and chef both visited our table and treated us like we were guests in their home. It was truly a spectacular experience.

This place was fantastic! It’s family owned and operated and the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic! It’s not your traditional Italian menu and much more unique to true Roman dishes. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing meal that’s more authentic Roman style.

The service is impeccable. Cheese plate was among the best we had in Italy. Pasta was delicious and the steaks were simple with lovely sides and were cooked to perfection. Sorry we didn’t save room for dessert.

Being as we are still touring Italy, I must make this brief. That said, our dining experience at Spirito Divino was exemplary. From presentation to the finest ingredients to unique dishes, it is truly a hidden gem in Trastevere. Combine all of that with the historical significance of the building itself and it ranks as a must-do when in Rome. I would honor it with the highest possible rating. Grazie mille Spirito Divino for a magnificent meal ! ! !

My review is of The Fork! The restaurant did not have the reservation, but graciously took us in even though it was crowded. The food was excellent, but The Fork needs to get its act together.

Second time to this fantastic restaurant. Family run, small but upscale in food and service. Down a little street. Great chicken liver patty, excellent pumpkin “pie” appetizers. Mains of wild boor and pork. Superbly cooked and presented. A low priced but excellent vino mobile multipulciano. Owner very personable and friendly. Will go again next trip.

The atmosphere is informal and, at the same time, elegant and sophisticated. I had the Carpaccio of smoked beef, caramelized onions and focaccia to start. It was excellent. For my entrée I chose the Beef filet of Piedmontese free range breed with a clafoutis with seasonal vegetables. The filet was done perfectly. They have a diverse wine list with selections starting at €17. Don't leave without seeing the wine cellar. It occupies a centuries old space beneath the restaurant.

This is a family owned business with a mission to provide the best dining experience that it can for its customers. It shouldn't be missed.

Food was good... the story of the place was facinating.
I was a little put off by everyone in the restaurant being a tourist.
The pasta with egg custard was my favorite, along with the cheese plate I had for dessert.
