This is my third visit to La Stazione Del Gusto and I gave the restaurant very high marks in the past. Unfortunately the two years elapsed since my last visit seem to have taken a heavy toll on the restaurant, with a very noticeable drop of both the quality and choice of food and the quality of service as well. The dishes are now rather dull and the service pretty basic. Even the setting, which is the same as in the past, appears to have been somehow neglected. A disappointing return!

We walked from Piazza Italia to this place on the excellent reviews and ratings it was given. It is adjacent to the railway station, has no charm what so ever and is like eating in a classy take away joint. Yes it is not expensive. It is for those on a very limited budget . Don't bother and it makes me doubt the ratings of The Fork.

An unexpected wonderful dining experience hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Atmosphere, food, and wait staff all commendable. Check for live jazz.

This is my second visit to La Stazione del Gusto and the restaurant has fully confirmed the first, excellent impression of a very nice place, with good service and great food. This time I chose more traditional dishes, crostoni as a starter and tagliata for main course. Both were very well prepared and presented, with fair portions. Once again, a place not to be missed!
