2/10The music playing was house music- which we asked them to turn down. We were the only table for some time but struggled to get service (like fresh tea and the check). The food did not seem fresh for £190 for 3. Should have gone to the Savoy.

10/10It was my first afternoon tea, and I liked everything about it. They've nice options for savouries. Wish they had more teas, but nevertheless, their exclusive collection is beautiful as well. I loved the welcome drink it was a beautiful cocktail If you enjoy a hint of sweet cocktails.

4.5/10The ambience was lovely. If o my the food was at the same standard. I should have trusted the other reviews but wanted to give a fair shake. The savory portions were the best part but my scone was so hard when I attempted to cut into it is exploded into a bunch of crumbs that ended up in my hair and all over the table. The other desserts felt so prepackaged and flavorless that I only took a bite and didn't return to any of them.

10/10We were shown to a table in a beautiful room at the back of the restaurant, nihal looked after us, an the service was just perfect. My friend an I enjoyed the experience and the food immensely

7.5/10The food is simply amazing - lovely vegan food - the service is disappointing - when you constantly have to chase to even be seated for afternoon tea - everyone seemed clueless in how to do good service - they aren’t nasty or bad - just clueless

4.5/10Afternoon tea with a friend. Portions weren't much and charging us so much for top up sandwiches, service was slow didn't even check if we needed anything. We had booked winter special Afternoon tea went there found out it was the standard Afternoon tea!

6.5/10It was fine. A tablecloth on the Formica table would have made it nicer. Not much attention from the staff - the food was placed on the table in a rush with no explanation of what was included. Everything was listed on a menu, but we saw staff who brought tea items to other tables go over each item with the customers. We have been to tea at other, London hotels which have all been incredible - this was less expensive, but not at all special. I would recommend the Savoy, Browns, Claridges, etc. Spend more money and get a wonderful experience - that is what having a leisurely high tea in London is all about.

8.5/10The staff were very helpful and accommodated us ahead of our scheduled booking. The place is very easy to find - very close to Convent tube station. Good selection of tea (we had the Covent garden blend) and the portions are enough to fill you up. The sweet treats are just too sweet for our liking.

4/10We waited an hour to be served even though we were the first sitting. Both child and adult food together on the stand, so you couldn’t tell. It was meant to be one per person there were quite missing: the only afternoon tea place I’ve been to that that doesn’t do refills and we have been quite a few in London

7.5/10The food was delicious and styled perfectly for Christmas. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. We were served the food before we ordered tea. There was no explanation of what was served, they just set down the snowman tier (which was cute) and walked away. We received a small portion of clotted cream and jam, there were five of us but we were only given enough for two, then it took over 20 minutes and asking three times until we got more. We all ran out of tea in the middle of our meal and had to wait another 20 minutes for more. It was the longest afternoon tea we have ever done! It was a real shame as the atmosphere was nice, the food was good and we all loved the Christmas theme. The service was just so disappointing and we didn't once receive an apology from anyone. Many other tables were also very disappointed in the service. It has potential to be good, but unfortunately we can't recommend.

6/10The afternoon tea was really nice. Delivered in a very cute way. Might be the best savory sandwiches I have ever had at an afternoon tea. That being said....when we were sat there were three tables that had finished and all the left over food and mess was on the tables. When we left two hours later....nothing had been removed and others had been added as people left. Service was slow because they had one person for the tea room. There were plenty of employees in the restaurant area but it looked like they were not "allowed" to come to the tea room - even to clean tables. Probably wouldn't return because of these reasons even though the tea itself was good.

6/10Had ordered vegetarian option but was not given that instead ended up having vegan . Not happy . In the tea lists no options offered for fruit infused tea. The food was not up to the standard for the money I paid.
