The food was not great. Edible and no real issues, but not super tasty and not at all appealing.

As other people have said the exterior does not reflect the quality of the the food - the mushroom and shrimp dish was really good but the sirloin with foie Gras was outstanding ( we no longer eat a lot of beef but this dish is worth it - enough for two)

I can’t think of a better way to spend an hour or so between arriving at Atocha Station and continuing our journey to the airport. A bright and airy upper room and bar, and a menu of many a gastro treat. We had the Huevos Revoltos with Jamon and a risotto of cepes and good gras - both really excellent. With a couple of complimentary tapas we didn’t need anything else - apart from a beer and a glass of wine each. Prices extremely competitive and the welcome and service were friendly and efficient.
It’s worth the five minute walk from the Station, and a nearby taxi rank was on hand for departure.
All worked brilliantly- would certainly return.
