Staff were lovely but there was an issue with communicating my allergy to all staff. Food was sent back due to contamination. Staff were lovely and apologetic but took several Staff to surround us and try to rectify issue. Food was filling and sushi was great, but other options were average.

The hot food such as tempura and spring rolls or Octopus Balls are superb. The sushi was a but of a let down. The rib eye maki tasted like it had been left out all day. Bill was higher than I expected considering its half price as was around £75 for 2 of us. Drinks and dessert weren't half price but only had 1 beer, Japanese tea and a mock tail so wouldn't pat full price here.

Food was nice however, the 50% was only until 5pm. So had 30 mins to order before the system reset and dishes were full price. Dont know if the 50% if worth it or not. 4 of us ate and cost £90 with the discount.

I recently dined at Sushi Mami and had an overall positive experience. However, I was disappointed that my 50% discount was not applied until I asked the manager for it after already paid full price for my meal and I had to ask for a refund (50%). While I appreciate that the issue was resolved promptly, it would have been more convenient if the booked slot with discount had been applied automatically. It was a bit overpriced. Nonetheless, the food was delicious and the service was otherwise excellent. I hope that Sushi Mami will take note of this issue (customers receive the correct amount when paying for their meals) and ensure that it does not happen to other customers in the future.

I've been in twice this week, the first time was very good, so booked the second time at 4:30pm with the 50% offer, when the kids finish school, we went in and waited to be seated and for the staff to set up the order pad, so it's 4:40pm and the staff says the 50% offer is only till 5pm after that the prices change, so be aware, so we ordered the food and drinks and everything came at once, so it was hard to enjoy, especially when some of the food goes cold, so please go early to avoid disappointment.

There is no mention of the 50% off deal is only for a certain menu on thefork website, the staff didn't mention it when we first arrived as well, so we ordered the all-you-can-eat menu, when we finished we got asked to pay for the full price.

We have booked through the fork using the 50% offer, we checked in on arrival they sat us down give us a tablet to order and at the end we got charged full price. We asked why is there no discount, they mentioned it’s a la carte menu only but they never mentioned or offered us to select which option we would like to choose. I would say it’s false advertisement attract the customers and then charge them full price. It’s not that we cannot afford the full price, but it’s not as they make it out. It’s false advertisement.

The service was good. Food is not the best, but as expected for a all-you-can eat sushi restaurant. However, our family had an overall better experience here than Samsi Japanese restaurant.

The reason I only gave 3 stars for the food is based on the portion size and value for money of 2 of the dishes we had. The tempura oysters were amazing. The gyozas were also lovely and tasty. Unfortunately the portion of crispy shredded beef, that was £5.50, was tiny and overcooked. The portion of Japanese chicken curry that they priced at £5 was also tiny and poor value for money. We complained to a rather unfriendly staff member and received a second small plate of shredded crispy beef. Overall our experience felt unpleasant so we will probably not be returning, which is a real shame as some dishes were fantastic.

The staff is attentive and kind. Very nice atmosphere and great sushi! Highly recommend both for a la carte and all you can eat! We went for valentines and we loved it

Absolutely amazing food and service from start to finish! The staff were wonderful, it was three out of four of our birthdays and they brought us over some cake and sang happy birthday, it was such a lovely touch. Had such a wonderful evening - thank you!
