10/10we came here for the 3rd time after 1 year but the staff still remember us and welcome us back. Now that's great service. The quality of the food and service is impeccable. So many restaurants try to execute this high cuisine concept but this restaurants is on of really few who manage to execute it well and keep it casual to make everyone feel comfortable

9.5/10All the staff were very attentive and the wine waiter recommended a lovely red with our meal. The food was delicious and the menu innovative. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

7/10I was quite disappointed based on the expectations I read in the other reviews. The service itself was very good and the location is pretty; they were nice and kind, but the food was average at best. We had the Gusto menu but were not offered the Madeira wine or the coffee that is included with it. Some of the dishes were late and I had to wait while all my guests already started eating. There was no traditional version of the local garlic bread, just some half-dry room-temperature bread slices. The small soups were not very cold. For a place that takes reservations up to 21:45, we were surprised they told us the kitchen closes at 21:15. The deserts were uninspiring and there was no Magnum ice cream even though it's stated. It's a one-time visit for me.

8/10Food fine if a little unimaginative. Bland complimentary soup was not enjoyable. Duck main ok and risotto with it very tasty. Felt chocolate fondant with a magnum ice cream was unimaginatively presented but fondant was tasty. Service was fine throughout. Ambience of place not felt as only a few diners eating. Place itself is fine inside.

3/10The vegan option of Thai green curry was a huge bowl of chopped veg , mostly carrots with a rather bland sauce , over faced with such a large portion it was off putting , there was a large group on the table next to us which made conversation difficult. We were disappointed with the service and the, food and as we paid our bill we said we thought it had been poor the server did apologize . Why with so many interesting flavors on the menu was the vegan/ vege option so unimaginative and poor ? A rat her wasted evening. I’m sure the rest of the menu is fine .

10/10Food was great and the service even better, which is not always the case with restaurants in Funchal. We had the filet mignon and lombo argentino as we were a bit fished out. Both were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
