4/10Horrible food, probably the worst paella I have had in Valencia. Appetizers were greasy and tasteless, no seasoning on them just full of oil. The service was okay and the restaurant nice but horrible overpriced food for sure

10/10From the time we stepped into the restaurant, we were well taken care of by their staff! Team effort really shown in the way they serve us and the other diners. They would check in with you about the food and engage in small talk when they can afford the time. Even when asked about what food to order and how big the portions were as well as the cost and waiting time, they were friendly and patient about it. Thank you for making our dinner such a great one! To start off, we had their bread with tomato and garlic cream in the side. Very tasty! Olives were served before this but we weren’t olive lovers so we told them to take them back. Then, we had their calamari which was really good as well. Better with the lemon squeezed all over of course! Lastly, we had their seafood paella which was not just flavourful but really filling and we ate to our heart’s content! With all the food we had before the paella, we struggled to finish the big portion of paella but nevertheless, very worth it

4.5/10The staff were disinterested. The Paella was very average with all proteins over cooked and dry. When I asked the waiter what happened to the socarrat he just smirked and said not here.!!!

3/10A dramatic Aqua de Walencia drink, the cheapest potatoes dripping with fat in Patatas Bravas, and on top of that, the staff who ignored the request to change the dirty tableware, did not answer questions and did not understand a word of English - but gossiped about customers at the bar. I do not recommend visiting here

6/10We ate here on our first night in Valencia and generally enjoyed it. The live guitar player really added to the ambience and the restaurant was full of diners. We ordered the paella, which was tasty but pricey and lacked some of the traditional parts like the socarrat, which was disappointing and left us questioning the price. The staff were okay, it felt as though we were an inconvenience multiple times, not the friendliest. We also ordered Agua de Valencia, which had been adapted into a fancier drink. Although tasty, I would recommend getting the original from a local bar instead to get the full experience. All in all, tasty food, not sure if we would go back.

10/10Los Gomez was a delight. Recommended by our hotel front desk. The ambiance is modern, yet tempered with a cozy feeling. The menu is varied, but everything we had was delicious, from the tabla Los Gomez to the different croquetas we had. Even our child’s dish was delicious. Our server Maria Jose was attentive and friendly, this is a big deal for us. All in all, it was a fantastic night out.

10/10We reserved for Christmas day, the special Christmas Day menu. We were looking for Spanish food, but not the usual paella. Four of us had three different main courses, all of which were excellent. We had been told beforehand that we would have the table for 2 hours, which turned out to be exactly what we needed. Staff was friendly and very competent. All of use enjoyed the experience very much.

3.5/10Doesn’t cater for gluten free, very limited menu, like pub food. Food was overcooked. Staff couldn’t wait to take your money after you have finished then, don’t accept tips unless it’s lots of notes - very arrogant

3/10The restaurant that pride itself on serving Valencian specialties was not able to produce a decent paella Valenciana. The soccarrat was non existent, as well as spices. The chicken was tough, the rabbit was missing , and no utensils were given to enjoy the snails.

6/10Popular with foreign tourists, i was eating alone and restaurant provided quick and easy meal. Staff were fr, food was ok. My steak was very sinewy, chips a bit soggy and padron peppers a bit greasy. Average and nit expensive

10/10Excellent paella! Everything we ordered was delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant and flamenco dancer performance accompanied by guitarist was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended this place. We had a wonderful server, Miky who made it extra special by treating us to shots at the end of the dinner. It was a fantastic experience for my daughter and her BFF having paella for the first time at a Valencia restaurant .

10/10Last night in Valencia. Wanted a tapas themed meal and we weren't disappointed. Great variety of really well cooked and prepared food. Price point was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Would certainly recommend.

8.5/10Title: A Tasty Paella Experience at Taberna los Gómez, Valencia (4 Stars) I recently dined at Taberna los Gómez in Valencia, and I must say that my experience was a mix of delightful flavors and a touch of disappointment. On my first visit, I had the pleasure of savoring their Valencian paella with rabbit and chicken, and it was truly delicious. The flavors were rich, and it captured the essence of traditional Valencian cuisine perfectly. The portion size was generous, and I left the restaurant thoroughly satisfied. The only downside was the slight confusion in the restaurant, which was consistently packed. Nevertheless, the service remained quite good. Our waitress, Marica, was exceptionally kind and helpful. She guided us through the menu and made sure we had everything we needed, which added to the overall positive experience. However, I decided to give the restaurant another chance and returned two days later to try their seafood paella. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. The seafood seemed to lack freshness, giving me the impression that it might have been frozen rather than fresh. This was a bit of a letdown after the fantastic experience with the Valencian paella. In summary, Taberna los Gómez in Valencia is a place that excels in serving Valencian paella with rabbit and chicken, offering excellent service despite the constant crowd. However, the seafood paella didn't live up to my expectations, and I would recommend sticking to their other delicious offerings. Overall, a 4-star experience due to the mixed seafood paella impression.

5.5/10The restaurant was cute and had a nice ambiance. It’s a shame the paella was bland and didn’t have much seafood. We’ve since walked by many paella dishes at restaurants on the street that smelled and looked amazing in comparison. For the price we expected better and we’re led astray by Trip Advisor this time. The service was not great. The people were nice enough but they seemed confused and we had to order a large water 4 times before it finally showed up. The wine recommendation was nice. The bread appetizer was also forgotten and they went and got after the 45 min to cook paella. Then they brought us coffee meant for another table and then took it back. How odd. Try somewhere else is my message here.
