10/10Good tradicional Portuguese food. The staff was funny and made us have a good time with his videos on YouTube. Recommend it for someone that is looking for Portuguese food.

10/10This restaurant seemed so unassuming but we followed the previous reviews and went along for Saturday night dinner. The owner was very friendly and went way and above to make sure all tables were served and the music and screening on TV was fun. The star was the food, we ordered seafood Cataplana and were amazed at the portion, delicious option. I recommend trying a Cataplana here and the wine was good too. No frills just amazing fresh food served well. Next time in Faro we will return. ❤️🦞🍷

10/10When asked the waitress explained the history of the restaurant. We were delighted to hear we were in a long standing family establishment. Our waitress chose the food for us. She did not disappoint. Highly recommend !!!!

10/10The owner and the waitress were very hospitable and made you feel very welcome in their restaurant. He had some videos that he created and played on the television screen that were hysterical and made many of us in the restaurant laugh. The food is terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed the oyster, clam, shrimp, razor clam, potato cataplana made for at least 2 people. We were too full to eat dessert. It’s a treat to eat at this casual carefully crafted restaurant. You will love the food and the friendly atmosphere.

10/10Small family restaurant that obviously caters to high quality food and service which summarizes my experience. I had a wonderful dining experience highlighted by my enjoying the fried squid and seafood cataplana and a local white wine. Service was prompt and genuinely interested in seeing I was pleased.

9.5/10Really nice customer service . Clientele was a mixture of tourists and locals. Octopus cataplanas was fresh and really tender! Loved the wine too. At the end got a complimentary cherry liquor which was delicious

10/10Ambiance is nice. Would totally recommend it there. I would suggest though to book in advance especially if you’re a big group or a family since the place is a bit small

9/10The fish and seafood was ultra fresh and the flavours were simple but allowed the fish’s full flavour to stand out. No extra spices necessary, but for a bit of garlic and bay. Lovely al dente rice in the Arroz com Peixe. Very friendly service, and very reasonable price, 75 Euros for two for three courses, bottle of wine, water and coffee.

10/10Friendly and familiar environment. Fresh fish, and excellent dishes. My friends and I, were really satisfied. Prices lower than expected, compared to the food level. If I lived in Faro, I would be here twice a month, at least. Thank you.

9.5/10From the warm welcome, the explanation of the menu and the chat as we went - the dining experience was what these weary travelers needed. We shared a dish with some starters and an amazing pitcher of sangria. Couldn’t have had a better meal!!

10/10What a find in Faro . A very small family run restaurant . If you like seafood then this restaurant is a must . We ate here on Friday 16th February and before we left booked for the following Saturday . This restaurant is that good .
