The food was excellent, nicely served and marvelously cooked. the only negative point is that next to us there was a young couple smoking non- stop.. was difficult to enjoy food, being smoked. I asked them to at least make a pause, they said they would smoke more ;) no one else around was smoking.. On top they were apparently friends of a servant, laughing and distracting her from her duties like “be with us, others will wait” and discussing my comment regarding the smoke right in front of me. She was laughing with them. not the best attitude, I would say. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the place!

After researching restaurants in Biarritz we decided to have lunch at Table d’Aranda. And we are thrilled with our choice! We chose the 59 euros lunch which included a wine pairing. (There was a cheaper menu of the day for 22euro) Outstanding value in my eyes as the food was incredible and we both enjoyed the wines selected for us. The restaurant staff were very welcoming, warm, friendly and genuinely very nice people. The setting of the restaurant was cozy with enjoyable music to set the ambiance further. It was a 2.2km walk from our accomodation in a quieter part of Biarritz. .A very enjoyable long lunch!! Highly recommend this restaurant! Should we find ourselves back in Biarritz we would not hesitate to dine here again and sincerely hope to be back one day.

I don’t write reviews but this time I feel I’m obliged to do it to warn people with high hopes for this place. Stay away from this place. Seriously. This has been one of the greatest food disappointments I’ve ever had. We booked it based on great reviews but our dinner was a disaster. The food was just bad, not even mediocre - in a fantastic city of Biarritz there are plenty of great places to choose from. Wine and water glasses were with a cloudy buildup. The place has no a/c. The service we received at Table d’Aranda was also extremely disappointing. We didn’t finish our dishes, made a clear statement we didn’t like the food and as a result still paid 87 euro for something we both would like to forget ASAP.

Most disappointing meal during a week on the Basque coast. I don't understand why others rated this place so highly. The food was average, the service was average and value for money was nothing like other highly rated places in Biarritz.

Tucked away in a tree lined well lit street with parking outside, the restaurant had lots of atmosphere, original art on the walls, beams, a little bar, and tables beautifully laid with napiary and glistening glasses .

Welcoming patron and staff. Lovely old building in quiet area of Biarritz. Food was delicious . Menu was in French and difficult to translate into English as waitresses did not speak English!

Very good out of the centre of town restaurant. Different very effective decor , comfortable. Menu choices managed to please everyone after some deliberations. We all had a very good meal , good choice of wines to accompany the food. Service was friendly and very efficient, made for an excellent evening.

Excellent food, excellent quality, very good service and very friendly. We took the menu with wine pairing, it was very good. It's a little bit far from the center of Biarritz but I highly recommend the restaurant if you want an excellent meal.

Table d'Aranda is a neighbourhood restaurant in an old building a short distance from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area of Biarritz. The tables are well spaced, the food delicious, and the extensive wine list very well priced. We both had steaks, which were melt in your mouth tender and perfectly cooked, so this restaurant is certainly on our list of places to return to on our next visit to this part of France.
