It was weird that we booked a table for dinner but got seated in the bar. We could only have sushi there.. which you dont expect on new years eve. The food was nice but overpriced. This is NOT a $$-$$$ dollar place.

For 31 December we had a set festive menu at Taiko Cuisine which required a pre-payment to guarantee the reservation. Unfortunately the restaurant did not host guests without a reservation on new years eve. This might have been the reason why you were seated in Taiko Bar instead of Taiko Cuisine. Food is lovely, but réception could not find our table booking. It took them 10 min to decide what they would do with us, while the place was empty. We took a menu, the rythm of the dish serving was crazy they clearly wanted us to leave asap!!

Top very stylisch and with good music and superb drinks. Ambiance was modern and high society. The hotel looked amazing!
