The waiter was rather rude to my wife who was initially seated awaiting the rest of us he told her that our party at our table had to leave by 9:00 pm even though the restaurant closed at 10:00 pm.

The food was great! The service was lackluster; no engagement from the server. Apparently it was trash night as there were trash cans next to the restaurant (from another building) and it smelled like a dead animal was in one of the cans. When the wind blew a certain way, it was an awful smell and not very appetizing.

I'm from the US and Indian food is one of my favorites. This was the best Indian cuisine I've ever eaten. The naan, vegetable samosas, and chicken vindaloo were incredible.

Tamil is one of the best Indian restaurants that we have eaten at in Europe. The food was authentic and delicious. The portions were perfect. They had plenty of yummy and innovative non alcoholic beverages to choose from (as well as alcoholic). We also had the opportunity to sit outside with a great view of the St. Thomas church. And... the service was GREAT! Our servers were responsive, attentive, and accommodating. On the list to visit again!
