We had pre booked a table for 7pm on Friday 7th of April. We turned up a few minutes late due to a train delay. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy yet we waited for 15 minutes and no one approached us to see if we wanted a drink or provided us with a menu. After 15 minutes we left and went to the restaurant next door. What was more insulting was I don’t even think they realised that we’d left. We have visited Tapas Revolution on several occasions, but yesterday we were bitterly disappointed with the lack of service.

Not the first time being there.but as usual fantastic food,good service and great prices. Only downside is that you can’t tip individual persons.

Food is always delicious, and arrives quickly. Staff are friendly and are happy to let you practice your Spanish. Gets busy though so always worth booking.

The food was fantastic. The service was very good overall at a busy time of day. Not cheap but good value. My only criticism is that - having made a reservation online - I contacted the restaurant direct to request a table in a particular position. On arrival, no-one seemed to know about this request.

Food not as good as I was expecting. Service not great. Food didn't come out together and one of our dishes didn't come out at all, which got knocked off the bill. Felt like the waitresses weren't too bothered about making an effort, as there is already 12.5% added to the bill for tips (which I wouldn't have given them, due to the service).

Have been here before and had good service. Disappointed this time. Waitress was away with the fairies, hardly any seafood for the dishes and had to chase twice for drinks which in the end we didnt bother with. Paella dish was very dry like it had been made way in advace, kept warm and scooped into a dish when ordered. Then, after paying staff were clearing the table even before we left. If I didnt know better, I would advise others to avoid

The food was vert tasty and well presented. The staff were attentive but rushed. The atmosphere was good but a bit loud, although we did ha a hen party next to us. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

Chaotic atmosphere. We reserved a table but tables weren’t actually reserved so we had to wait behind other diners who hadn’t booked. We’ve dined at Tapas Revolution in Bath pre-COVID and feel that the food has deteriorated since then. Smaller portions and less well cooked. Pork belly was tiny dry pieces, like chewing rubber. Service was indifferent and the server didn’t know what was in stock and what wasn’t. They had no croquetas… one of the best things on the menu. The paella was dry and looked like it had been sitting around for ages. Won’t return.

Arrived earlier than booked happy to accomodate. Went from half empty to full quickly advice book a table but check availability if you are passing. Would have liked to have had one dedicated service staff albeit several came to our table. Food lovely, small plates but enough for our needs as s party. We will be back, lovely flavours.

Food was lovely, although the portion of paella was quite small for being a main meal. Service on the other hand was awful. We were going to order a dessert each but the waiter took so long to come back to us after eventually clearing our plates away that I just asked for our bill. I didn't appreciate being charged 12.5% service charge either for terrible service (wouldn't have minded if the service had been too notch).

Met here for a catch-up lunch with a friend I hadn't seen for a very long time. Great food and excellent service. A very enjoyable lunch. Highly recommended.

So bad we walked out. The waiter was annoyingly false, he had no idea what was available, and when I asked for an alcohol free beer he took several minutes to discover they had none. I should have taken the clue, the restaurant was empty, and now I know why!

My daughter and I visited during the Commonwealth games. Birmingham was packed but we managed to get a table for lunch here. The food was excellent and the staff despite being run off their feet were all friendly and attentive. Would fully recommend.

Food as expected. Quality fair, some thin sauces. Ridiculous price for bread. Didn't like being charged 12.5% service charge directly on the bill. Not service as I would expect for that percentage. Mentioned a very noisy table next to us and the staff did nothing about it.

The food is fantastic and the staff lovely. The service was a little chaotic because the POS system went off line. The Manager did apologise. Not the restaurant’s fault but I did not realise it was “ in” the railway station and the ambiance was strange to me but the food soon relieved any misgivings.

Fantastic lunch option in central Birmingham. Easy to follow menu and authentic, really tasty dishes, freshly prepared (we could see the chef at work!)
