Had a lovely pre Opera dinner here last night. Had the Pork starter, which was flavourful and matched well, though the toast was a wee bit hard! The butatta and tomatoes dish was tasty and well balanced. Also we found the signature Duckleg dish with lentils was delightful.

A group of us recently had the pleasure of visiting Tapenade and, as we walked in, we received the friendliest welcome imaginable. In addition to the welcome, the smell of the fresh pastries made everything warm, enchanting and even more inviting. When it came to ordering, our host was kind enough to make it easy by bringing out a basket selection of the most delictately made pastries and the most amazing tasting sandwiches. Something that cannot be overlooked is Tapenades high quality and grade of their coffee that had a flavour that kept us wanting more. Overall, Tapenade is an amazing place with delicious food and drinks that is backed by genuinely friendly staff. Thank you.

Was impressed with Tapenade. My partner and I had the Leek & Goat's Cheese crepe for brunch. It was light, thin, with a crunch and it was delicious . The ambience and service was great, well done.

Great lunch spot and the signature dish of confit duck on braised puy lentils is becoming a firm favourite. The recently introduced savoury and sweet crepes on weekends is a new welcome attraction.

Delicious French food and delightful staff. The atmosphere felt joyful & decidedly French. However, like most cafes and restaurants these days, there are so many hard surfaces that noise increases dramatically with the number of patrons. Introducing more acoustic solutions would be a move in the right direction.

I LOVE coming to Tapenade. Kevin and Laurie strive to provide the BEST service and food. It's fresh, it's so tasty. The barramundi is devine, and the basque baked cheesecake... freakin heaven. No one can do any better cheesecake in the world. Guaranteed your eyes will roll to the back of your head in absolute blissful pleasure. It's a small menu for a purpose - freshness and big flavour. Try it!!

This was our first time here attracted by the escargot on the menu, which did not disappoint Our mains, the signature duck was superb, and the steak excellent. The cheesecake to finish topped off a great meal. An interesting wine list, which we sampled and were not disappointed. We now live locally and will definitely be back - as a regular.

We had a lovely evening meal at Tapenade. The husband and wife team that own this restaurant provided fantastic personalised service. We had the plate de jour with accompanying drinks and finished with a lovely slice of house made lemon meringue. Do yourself a favor and go!

We booked at Tapenade for a workmate's farewell lunch. The staff were very communicative and attentive and worked with us leading up to the day. They were amazing to deal with, very friendly, polite and professional. The food was amazing, everything arrived on time and we weren't waiting long once we were all seated. They easily catered to those who were vegetarian or vegan, and accommodated food allergies and intolerances as well. Absolutely wonderful restaurant, food, and staff, it has now become our go-to for any work functions. Highly recommend!

Consistently excellent food and service. We particularly enjoyed the changed winter menu. Also, great to get wild rather than farmed salmon. A most enjoyable winter family lunch within the cosy confines of Tapenade.
