Tasca da Vila

Very welcoming staff and very happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. And finally, at the end of my holiday and after many years, I understand what tapas actually is, thank you! The food was served piping hot, cooked to perfection. I ate steak, partner chicken, and did a little pick and mix with the food. Creme Brûlée was recommended for dessert, so I had this and it was wonderful. Cold, creamy and the tang of the caramelised sugar set it off perfectly. Asked for an espresso afterward and it was the most flavoursome coffee I have had all week. Thank you for a new experience!

I was recommended to Tasca de Vila for the food. However we were pleasantly surprised with the exceptional service. Great value , lovely wines and explanation of dishes will be back

We came to this little gem on a recommendation. V close to the marina (1 row back) in a square) but quite difficult to find . Well worth looking for it. The waiter was so obliging , The food was fresh and delicious. We ate tapas ????????. Definitely worth walking away from the front tier restaurants of the marina.. you won’t be disappointed .

Excellent, we will return there many times during our stay in Vilamoura...highly recommended to other diners...and if we may say so, coming from NYC we have been to quite a few so- called umpteen star restaurants, and we would rank Tasca da Vile as their equal in every aspect...Incidentally, we note that "Fork "offers up to 50 percent reduction for what we assume is some sort of loyalty program...we will be here in Vilamoura through April, so please let us know qualifying procedure for this program. Great food and service. We ate early at 6pm because we had a baby with us so we were the only people there so cannot make comment on the ‘mood’ would definitely recommend and eat here again. Lovely place ????

Friendly service and brilliant food

Food did not live up to expectations, particularly the steaks. Seafood tapas were good but rest disappointing. By the way they put out breads and cheeses and tell you halfway through that these are actually the starters and you’re not charged if you don’t eat! ????
