We were welcomed and quickly shown to our reserved table. The food was very tasty and portions were more than adequate. We did not receive one item, the raita, and were charged for it, but the waitress quickly removed it from the bill when I pointed it out. On a busy Saturday night it was as noisy as a British pub and they do not take credit cards, at least they refused my American ones, so bring cash.

Food was alright. Not amazing not bad. Service could definitely improve. Very slow and not professional. Napkins were tossed on the table in front of your nose. We ordered mango chutney but never got it, after telling the waitres she went into the back but never came back with the chutney. It was on the bill. The payment system was broken so we had to pay in cash, which would be ok if we had the right amount. The waitresses were too slow so we left and leaving them with a generous tip they don't deserve. Definitely not going back in a while and not going to recommend it.

My goodness, hands down one of the few most amazing meals I have had for a long time. I have tried more Indian restaurants in Haarlem and this is personally my favourite so far.

Amazing service, homey atmosphere and located in the city centre. It's just perfect.

Ps. yes, when they say it's spicy, it is spicy.

Very nice food. My boyfriend and I eat a lot and we were very full with a lamb menu (really tasty meat) and a samosa (very good!). Great quality/price.

Taste of India has been our "go to" restaurant every month for about a year now. We love it! Food has been outstanding every time: home made, full of flavors, and with just the right amount of spiciness. Service is great, always attentive and efficient.
Overall, it is a small, family style restaurant serving authentic Indian food at a very affordable price! Decor could use an upgrade but it just adds up to the charm of the place. Go in with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed!

We've been here several times over the past few weeks and so far got only positive impressions. Tried different dishes (lamb, chicken, veggie) - all were excellent. The service is good, could just take a fraction longer than you would expect sometimes but not critical at all. The atmosphere is "heel gezellig" :)

Location is great at the heart of Haarlem city centre. For starter(s), we had Vegetarian Samosa & Mixed Kabab. The meat was tender & real tasty. For main course(s), we ordered Tandoori Chicken Tikka & Mix Biryani. Food was delicious. However, I do think Mix Biryani is pricey €16.75 for the portion served.
Service was friendly. Could be better when they serve our drinks on a tray instead of hand delivered.
Decor is a little tired-looking.
It was a fine dinner experience.
